I wouldn't be surprised to see him stick around all four, simply due to his smaller size and his love of UND. Does Blake have a COVID 5th year option? I don’t think the NHL will be knocking on his door and he has a great love for UND hockey and everything about it. Quote
bcblues Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 More give-aways in front of our own goal. QUIT THAT! Quote

jk Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Miami has had the better of the chances, and they're really quite good in the offensive zone. Lots of successful cross ice passes that have not turned into goals only because of UND's goalie. I wouldn't mind if UND back-checkers could disrupt some of those plays so Persson doesn't have to. UND has the elite talent this year to convert enough chances to win games like this, but they need to play better. Quote
Wilbur Posted November 19, 2023 Author Posted November 19, 2023 Now let's finish the game the right way. Managed to sleep walk through that period and keep a three goal lead. Ludvig turned the page on yesterday. He's been good. Quote
Esoteric Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Having lost Jake Schmaltz and Owen McLaughlin both centers makes it difficult to feel comfortable with a change with who plays with who. The fluid play of a team develops from what to expect in passing pace, location on ice, where to receive a pass from and where to leave a pass, etc. Quote
dagies Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 Love that by Perron. Scores on a VERY nice shot, but doesn't pound his chest or "look at me", instead points to Johannes who had done the hard work and made the pass that made it all possibly. Love it. 4 Quote
jk Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 That shot is what I mean by elite talent converting chances. What a release. Quote
Vegas_Sioux Posted November 19, 2023 Posted November 19, 2023 No wonder Sullivan doesn’t care he’s done after next weekend. Quote
