Kab Posted January 9, 2023 Posted January 9, 2023 The other problem in waiting for the 4 minute timeout sometimes they end up being closer to 8 minutes before a stop in play. 1 Quote

But at least you tried, instead of just sitting in the chair with your face in your hands shaking your head because it is all the players fault that the other team is on a run. Just like Sather did in the SDSU game..... Sounds like Travis Brewster before Chaves (finally) showed him the door. Quote

UND-SPORTS-FAN Posted January 13, 2023 Author Posted January 13, 2023 Sather might be the worst coach ever for UND! I’m sorry it’s time to move on or cancel the program if you are happy finishing in last. I get it’s a young team but my goodness, he has zero creativity or at least has diminished from when he started, players have regressed, and struggles to keep players. I’M DONE! 1 Quote
GoodGood Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Winning 20% of games against d1 opponents in the last 3 years. Let an assistant take over the rest of the year and see if he can find something. It’s a lost cause with Sather Quote

sioux24/7 Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 I fully expect a new head coach come May 1 (hopefully not take as long as last time) and basically another new roster come November. Quote

sioux24/7 Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 He’s got one year left, not like it’s some massive buyout. Come on. 4 Quote

Kab Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Wasn’t Chaves let go at eastern Washington? he must have been cheap for us to hire him Quote
Siouxperfan7 Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 If this team loses to Denver on Saturday, Sather needs to be let go. He has shown that he can’t coach at the D1 level. 2 Quote
NewUndFan Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 NDSU up 24 on Denver now. No way we win at Denver after they lose like that. Their coach won't let that happen... our coach will be our coach and not have a game plan Quote
Siouxperfan7 Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Sather conference records: 2019-2020: 7-9 2020-2021: 8-8 2021-2022: 2-16 2022-2023: 0-5 So in 3 plus years, that’s 17-38. 2-21 in the last 2 seasons so far. Pathetic. 2 Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Sather apologists, you now have the floor. Tell the rest of us why we are wrong. Quote
Kab Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Not an apologist, I just don’t think Chaves will do it nothing we can do about that 2 Quote
