Popular Post UND92,96 Posted April 15 Popular Post Posted April 15 Hanna Miller also has a 6'4" younger sister in the portal from Arizona State whom Hutter follows. Not predicting anything, but interesting nonetheless. 1 6 Quote

What a breath of fresh air! I think the last 3 signed are all over 6'2! I like his philosophy of going after P4 players that are from the midwest. I wish he had a few more open roster spots to see who else he can get!! 4 Quote

I seen on maybe her dads twitter account that she was getting calls from the big ten and big east. Probably not getting the sister, but that would be awesome Quote

YeahhhSiouxSioux Posted April 16 Posted April 16 I understand the hype around these power 5 recruits we are getting, but I think we need to take a step back and actually look at how good they are. Most of these girls had little to no impact at all on their programs while they were there. I can’t really see how most of these girls will elevate our game beyond where we were last year. It’s still good to see that new players are willing to come though! 3 Quote

Give them a chance people complain when there are no recruits then complain when there are recruits wondering if they are too their previous teams must have thought they were good enough to recruit them 3 Quote

It’s still good to see that new players are willing to come though! I think the thing to keep in mind is that aside from Hanna Miller, the transfers are 2024 high school grads, so they have either three or four years of remaining eligibility. We're not talking about players who toiled on the bench for three years and are now just looking for playing time. Ohnstad was a Minnesota AAAA all state selection, and Ava Miller was honorable mention (the same as Marisa Frost was who just had a good freshman year at NDSU). If you put up good numbers at the MN 4A level, as both did, you are a good player. 8 Quote

It’s still good to see that new players are willing to come though! Consider that most were high level achievers during their high school career. The first inclination is to play at the highest level they can. Then they get buried on the bench, they still have the talent just maybe overstepped their level or went too far away from home. 7 Quote

It’s still good to see that new players are willing to come though! Hanna Miller played 23 and 31 minutes in the Big 12 tourney last month, finishing with 4 pts & 6 rebs and 10 points & 6 rebs. Ohnstad was a freshman on a Sweet 16 team. Ava Miller was a freshman and started 18 games. All three will benefit greatly from minutes as they were all great MN HS players. 3 6 Quote

It’s still good to see that new players are willing to come though! So far I think we have received equal or better talent from all the commits. Most of the girls that left the team are not close to the talent we are getting. We lost 3 impactful players from last years team, Pemberton, Ibrahim and schiller. I think Hutter has done a excellent job filling in with quality players. Its impressive to me the talent he has got to come to this team after losing our head coach and 8 players bailing on the team. He had those cards stacked against him and still getting high quality players. 1 5 Quote

I believe the UND WBB college coaches did exactly that before offering a spot on the team. 3 Quote
