As opposed to Democrats trying to buy it before the election.  What’s wrong with the $400 the republicans have on the table now?   Why do the dems consistently spread the message they want it to be higher?

Guess what?  It needs to be higher.

The headlines and narrative of this will be that Trump stopped the negotiations for this before an agreement could be made.

Dear Leader appears to be doing everything he can to bury himself and the down ticket Republicans this election.  Not good policy for our country and horrible politics, yet again, for Dear Leader.

trump just said, vote him back into office and he’ll get that stimulus passed. Not that he’s looking to buy your vote.

Biden has said he will infuse cash into the postal service and end their retirement prefund mandate....Biden isn't trying to buy their vote or anything is he?

The unemployment rate is currently at roughly the same level it was in 2013 or 2014. Why didn't we need extra unemployment benefits to make it back then?

Than you will have nothing to worry about in November.

We will see what the narrative is.

Biden doesn't have that power right now.  Dear Leader does. Big difference.

And...

Jerome Powell, Fed Chair, Says Economy Has 'a Long Way to Go' as Trump Calls Off Stimulus Talks

https://nyti.ms/33ysGIo

“Too little support would lead to a weak recovery, creating unnecessary hardship for households and businesses,” Mr. Powell said in remarks before the National Association for Business Economics.

“Over time, household insolvencies and business bankruptcies would rise, harming the productive capacity of the economy and holding back wage growth,” he said. “By contrast, the risks of overdoing it seem, for now, to be smaller.”

The Legislative Branch will surely find a way to blame the Executive Branch for this.
https://www.rollcall.com/2020/10/06/covid-19-cases-keep-rising-in-capitol-complex/

And like the first paragraph of the article says:

Quote

As COVID-19 cases spread through the White House and ruffle the Senate, cases among front-line workers on Capitol Hill continue to rise in the center of American government, which to this day lacks a comprehensive testing regimen for all workers.

You read that -- the Capitol facilities do not have a comprehensive testing regimen. And responsibility for things like that lies with the Speaker of the House*. And it has been brought repeatedly to the Speaker's attention, most recently:

*The Senate is too good to deal with such things. ;)

Ok.

So it is the president's duty to get the Coney Barrett in. But it's his duty to get Covid relief done, only if he's re-elected. Makes perfect sense.

He had an offer on the table.  Time to share with the people what couldn’t be agreed upon by both sides.

If I wanted to be an entrepreneur and a hockey dad, Grand Forks would be a good place to be. But as much as I enjoy hockey, I also enjoy skiing, surfing, rafting, mountain biking, backpacking, and other outdoor pursuits you can't do anywhere near there. Heck, there's not even a good swimming spot on a river or lake in GF. Summer is nice, but that doesn't make up for 7 months of misery weather wise.

Fair enough.

Are we sure Capitol Hill didn't bring the mess to the White House and not vice versa?

Either way, we'll never know.

I see.  Create a cloud of suspicion on the Democrats for spreading Covid-19 at a Rose Garden event and the White House.  Where multiple Republicans didn't wear facemasks or practice social distancing.  Where said Republicans had a large breakout of Covid-19.

Where the White House has refused to assist the CDC in contract tracing.

Yeah, sure.  That's not a bunch of BS.  LOL

You know, continue spreading the BS around.  Nobody outside of the cult is buying it.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/10/05/health/contact-tracing-white-house.html

The White House has decided not to trace the contacts of guests and staff members at the Rose Garden celebration 10 days ago for Judge Amy Coney Barrett, where at least eight people, including the president, may have become infected, according to a White House official familiar with the plans.

Instead, it has limited its efforts to notifying people who came in close contact with Mr. Trump in the two days before his Covid diagnosis Thursday evening. It has also cut the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, which has the government’s most extensive knowledge and resources for contact tracing, out of the process.

Yet it's ok for him to halt talks on covid relief until after the election, where he promises to get it passed if re-elected?

rumor has it that the Kennedy Center for the Arts was only getting 1 billion dollars this time and Don thinks they should get 2 billion.

Just pointing out that they are both indirectly trying to buy votes.  That's what politicians due.  Don't pretend like your guy is any different in that category.

And another.

Oh, cultists.  Dear Leader's inner circle is tightening even more.

https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/10/06/us/trump-covid-live-updates/stephen-miller-a-top-trump-aide-tests-positive-for-the-virus

senior administration officials confirmed that Stephen Miller, Mr. Trump’s top speechwriter and a policy adviser, had tested positive for the coronavirus, joining a growing list of Mr. Trump’s close aides who have the virus.

Mr. Miller is married to Katie Miller, Vice President Mike Pence’s communications director.

On Tuesday, many White House offices were empty as officials stayed home to wait out the infectious period from an outbreak of the coronavirus within the building and among people who had been there.

President Trump was in the White House residence, convalescing, as a number of advisers and other officials stayed home, either because they had contracted the coronavirus or had been near people who did.

In the meantime, Biden is sealing it up with a nice big bow on it.

From Gettysburg, Biden Calls for Healing of a ‘House Divided’

https://nyti.ms/2GFHLin

“You don’t have to agree with me on everything, or even on most things,” Mr. Biden said, to see that what “we’re experiencing today is neither good nor normal.”

In his remarks, Mr. Biden sought to present himself as a bipartisan figure, eager to paint the most searing issues of the day — the pandemic, racial injustice, economic crises — as American challenges, rather then problems that should be viewed through a political lens. The message was a striking contrast with the actions on Tuesday of Mr. Biden’s opponent, President Trump, who ended talks with Democrats about an economic stimulus bill even as millions of Americans struggle with the financial fallout of the health crisis.

“This pandemic is not a red-state or blue-state issue,” Mr. Biden said. The virus “doesn’t care,” he added, “where you live, what political party you belong to. It affects us all. It will take anyone’s life. It’s a virus — it’s not a political weapon.”

Oh, I'm sorry.  Is there a swine flu epidemic right now?

I know Dear Leader is fat like a pig, but I think he has Covid-19.  Hmmm.   How, oh how, did he get it?  Maybe by being careless and pushing lies that got a lot of people near him sick with it too?

You really need to keep up, cultist.  Of course you will just repeat Dear Leader's lies.  Because that is what cultists do...

Well, to be fair, we didn’t bother with up-to-the-second numbers then because a Democrat occupied the White House and reporters were too busy asking him hard-hitting questions about who he had in his men’s and women’s NCAA March Madness Final Four brackets...

So.

Did 210,000 Americans die then?

Keep it up, cultist.  The BS is only making things worse for Dear Leader.
