sioux rube Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Jake Guentzel has 5 game-winning goals this postseason, the most by a rookie in the postseason in NHL history. Quote

If Marc-Andre Fleury was allowed to play forward the rest of the series, he'd score 6 game-winning goals. Yea, he's THAT good. Quote

You realize that they only reason he was playing is because the starter, Murray, got injured in warm-ups. While MAF played well, there is absolutely no way to prove that Murray wouldn't have them in the exact same spot. 10 hours ago, Roosevelt83 said: Pittsburgh wins and notorious Penguins haters on this forum actually seem giddy about it. If MAF doesn't suffer a concussion just prior to the start of last year's postseason he is the one looking at being on the ice for back to back cups, Murray is still on the bench where he belongs, and we're not even having this discussion. But then wouldn't it be Murray's turn this year? 7 Quote

The backup is never entitled to a turn unless the so-called starter was given the job without earning it. 2 Quote

He wants to talk about some hack backup named Lou Gehrig. 2 Quote

Popular Post 90siouxfan Posted June 3, 2017 Popular Post Posted June 3, 2017 Fluery should not even be mentioned on the same planet as Lou Gehrig, Tom Brady, and Ken Stabler. 6 Quote
SiouxForever Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Not speculating if Crosby is 100% or not but a guy who is 29 years old and in his prime sure wasn't noticeable tonight. Didn't seemed like he played as much as his peers. Malkin, Kessel, Guentzel, Kunitz , Rowney etc. seemed to be on the ice. If Crosby is a non-factor next game, chalk up another winf for the almighty Preds! Quote
farce poobah Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Wow, the fish were really flying tonight! Nashville playing more like the team that ripped through the Western Conference. 11 minutes ago, SiouxForever said: Not speculating if Crosby is 100% or not but a guy who is 29 years old and in his prime sure wasn't noticeable tonight. Of course, your non-factor observation is true. https://www.nhl.com/gamecenter/pit-vs-nsh/2017/06/03/2016030413#game=2016030413,game_state=final,game_tab=stats Liking Roman Josi more, the more I see him play. cberkas Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 That's a joke call on Nashville if they didn't call Kunitz for doing the same thing when he lost his stick they shouldn't have called that one. Quote
