I know The Sicatoka started the Playoffs Game, but I wanted to start a thread to just talk playoff hockey, starting with this...potential Sioux to get their name etched on the Stanley Cup.

 

Chicago Blackhawks - Jonathan Toews and Nick Schmaltz

Minnesota Wild - Zach Parise

St. Lous Blues - Jordan Schmaltz

Edmonton Oilers - Drake Caggulia

San Jose Sharks - Aaron Dell

Boston Bruins - Drew Stafford and Zane McIntyre

Washington Capitals - TJ Oshie and Taylor Chorney

Pittsburgh Penguins - Carter Rowney

 

Am I missing anyone?  If this is the comprehensive list, there are 11 former Sioux in the running, on 8 of the 16 teams that made the playoffs.  Quite impressive!

I do like the goal on a delayed penalty and you get a powerplay rule in college, I think the NHL needs to do that.

Parise's biggest regret will be chasing paper instead of trying to win a cup and play with hall of famers. He's never winning a cup in MN. Not trying to bash the Wild just stating the reality for those MN sports fans. 

He and Suter just like everyone else, aren't getting any younger.

Speaking of Cups, I wonder if Zajac will want a trade from the Devils to a Cup contender at some point. He isn't a kid anymore either.

They missed one in the Ottawa game.

The Ottawa one was a goal for Boston.
