Also, I don't trust Taubenheim. His leg isn't strong enough to kick in the wind. Tough to block when everyone in the stadium knows what's coming on every series

When the defense is selling out against the run, play action works to provide time by misconception. Not to mention, Studsrud is mobile and needs to be involved on run-pass options to assess the defensive rush and not get blind sided. Irish
It's the 4th game of the season and we still haven't scored an offensive point in the first quarter - Looking at you, Rudolf

geaux_sioux
There have been at least 4 plays were if an OL doesn't whiff we have a nice gain at least. That's not on Rudolph.

geaux_sioux
Also Santiago is getting impatient. He's trying to get 25 when a simple 4 will do. Hense the fumbles and miss reading holes.

You hit that one on the head. Any chance we get Cloyd involved in passing game like fellow true freshmen Toivonen and Wanzek? Would be great for entire team

BAD. Wasn't expecting that on d. And with how Newell runs it's going to be tough to keep them out of the redzone. Someone needs to penetrate, their OL isn't big but they're getting the job done with leverage.

geaux_sioux
So when Rudolph sucks at play calling we march down the field despite false starts. Then you pass happy guys get what you want and we go three and out with almost zero rest for the d.
