Russia has been banned for the 2018 Winter Olympics. The KHL said that if Russia is banned none of their players will be allowed to play for their countries in the Olympics. So far no word yet on what the KHL will do.

So there are still two goalies to be named to the men’s team?

A retired player as the captain of the men’s team. 

I have no hope that the men’s team will get out of their group.

Congratulations to St. Cloud state and Moorhead native will borgen on making the Olympic team, was just on world junior team a couple years ago

David Leggio and Brandon Maxwell are the other two goalies named to the Olympic team.

Is the gold medal game tomorrow?  I mean, do we really need to see Canada put up 18 or 20 on Slovakia or Korea?

USA beats the Olympic Athletes from Russia (that sounds awkward every time I say it or hear it on TV) 5-0.  A huge congrats to Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson who set an Olympic record (men's and women's), scoring 2 goals 6 seconds apart!

With regard to the women's hockey...wake me up when it's time for the USA-Canada gold medal game.
