SWSiouxMN Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 I don't think we came out of the locker room, all YSU right now. Quote
jdub27 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 UND has 14 turnovers and YSU shooting .610 from the floor.UND is outrebounding YSU 26-20 including 10-3 on the offensive glass so I guess that's a positive. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 Interesting that when UND came out of the half, they used Drick at the 5.... Quote

petey23 Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Jones on the hot seat?Better be at least warm.I said it before, don't care what the media and coaches pick us. If we aren't in top 4 regular season and/or semi-finals of conference tournament it is time to make a move. it is part of the job of running a program to coordinate your recruiting so you aren't in panic mode every 2-3 years. SWSiouxMN Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 They have cut it back down to 13. Have I spoke too soon?1:45 to go Quote

UNDBIZ Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 The final 2 minutes of a basketball game has to be the worst thing in sports. 1 Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 23, 2015 Author Posted November 23, 2015 YSU takes the 79-69 victory. We got issues to discuss, specifically at the center position. Quote
SiouxVolley Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Maybe Schafer will endorse axing a coach that doesn't get results. A loss to YSU in bb is just bad at anytime. 1 Quote
Cratter Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 New hockey coach....one of the best starts in recent memory.New football coach....should have had their first playoff wins.I think it's about time for a new basketball coach. Unless a miracle happens we might be watching Jones last season. 3 Quote
niouxsiouxfan Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I've been one to say wait and see what he does with the young guys, while saying this should be the season that determines what happens with his position. After watching the game this evening, I am quite worried about this team this year. I saw too many issues on the floor that should not have been there. He needs to be coaching for his job, and I don't know if he is aware of that. 1 Quote
UND Fan Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 (edited) After driving many hours to see today's game in person, I left with a sick feeling in my stomach. I just don't see that this group of young players will receive the coaching necessary to get the most out our of their considerable talent and become a great team (this year or in the future). Sideline demeanor, lack of adjustments during a game, lack of ability to stop opponents "runs", etc. - the same issues that have haunted us the last few years! There really are some talented, young kids on this team (although we still really need a much stronger presence at the 4 & 5). My concern is that this talent will provide us with a reasonably good record and the coaching situation will not be addressed. Edited November 24, 2015 by UND Fan 1 Quote
fightingsioux4life Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Jones on the hot seat?Should be, but won't be. Remember, there are some people in our fan base that think Mussman got a raw deal. Jones will be allowed to finish his current contract and whomever takes over will have to clean up the mess. That's the Faison Way. Quote
