SWSiouxMN
The Georgia State coach, who torn his Achilles celebrating in the conference tournament, fell out of his chair after his son hit a 30 foot shot that ended up being the game winner. His son scored 12 out of the last 13 pts. Wow...
SiouxScore
Great comeback by Georgia State two upsets so far and both against Big 12 teams.
cberkas
Great comeback by Georgia State two upsets so far and both against Big 12 teams. And both were 3 seeds.
Siouxperfan7
Great comeback by Georgia State two upsets so far and both against Big 12 teams. Big 12 teams losing early in the tournament. No big suprise. Thought they were going to buck that trend this year....guess not!!
UND92,96
It's too bad Paul Ralston isn't the voice of Baylor basketball. That would have been an interesting post-game interview.
cberkas
After listening to the Baylor players post game press conference. They should have just said we thought this was going to be a easy win.
SWSiouxMN
Butler sends the Big 12 to an 0-3 mark. They take down Texas. ND/Butler will be a excellent 2nd round matchup
SWSiouxMN
UCLA get a lucky break on a terrible goaltending call to advance. AWFUL!
dakotadan
E. Washington with a good start so far tonight. EWU 24 Gtwn 17 8:00 1st.
jdub27
Referees letting the Georgetown/EWU game turn into a football game and Georgetown is taking advantage.
dakotadan
Yeah, some very questionable calls/non-calls. And EWU now can't hit the side of a barn after starting off pretty hot.
SWSiouxMN
Eastern has managed to chip it down to 12. About 5 to go, still have a shooter's chance.
dakotadan
If the Eagles wouldn't have fallen asleep on the offensive side for half of the game they would have easily won this one.
Dagger
Very impressed with Eastern Washington. I can see why they were a 13 seed. They are going to be good again next year. I can see where they could of taken down Georgetown. I can't believe the refs didn't call a flagrant on Georgetown. The low seeds against big name schools just aren't going to get many breaks with the officials. They definitely represented the Big Sky well. jdub27
EWU played exceptional the first 10 minutes and last 10 minutes of the game. Unfortunately the middle 20 minutes did them in and then some.
UND92,96
One-time UND recruiting target Wes Washpun of UNI is playing really well today.
UND92,96
What more can you say about Ben Jacobson? You really have to respect what he's built at UNI. Sometimes I wonder what might have been for UND had Greg McDermott decided to remain at UNI long-term...
MafiaMan
Is anyone else tired of the play-in games? You win your conference and you are not an official 16 seed until you play another game prior to the NCAA Tournament (ex. Robert Morris, N. Florida). Yes. Ridiculous that that's considered the "first round" now.
darell1976
Yes. Ridiculous that that's considered the "first round" now. I just don't like the play in games to be a 16 seed. I am more acceptable for a battle to be an 11 seed. Why should conference winners (no matter how bad) be punished by playing an extra game just to compete in the tournament. SWSiouxMN
After the drama on Thursday, it was chalk for all but 1 game for Friday. Got 13 out of 16 on my bracket! Thanks for nothing Ok state, buffalo and Davidson. First time since 2007 that all 4 5 seeds advance to the next round. All the 4s did too. MafiaMan
NDSU put up a good fight against Gonzaga. Surprised no commentary on that. I know the hope was that the Bulldogs would roll the Bison by 40...

I know the hope was that the Bulldogs would roll the Bison by 40... A 30 or 40 point blowout is pretty rare these days in the tournament. I give Richman full credit for what he did this year with a team that really wasn't particularly talented after Alexander. If he can win 20-plus games next year without Alexander, he's a coaching genius.
