Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Alright then. Postseason begins day in the big leagues. No Donaldson for the series, and in a surprise move they brought up Kiriloff instead of Lamonte Wade Jr. They had all year to bring him up.....but waited until now. Not a fan of Wisler over Alcala, but hopefully we don't see much of that area of the bullpen this week. Quote
Walsh Hall Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Jeffers and Buxton in the lineup. Surprised by the Kiriloff move. I haven't seen if that was done to preserve a year of service under the SBA opposed to if he were called up earlier. Quote
SiouxScore Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Very very happy to see Rocco go with Jeffers. It is the right call but thought he'd go with Garver. Love Arraez and Buxton back to back at the top of the order. 1 Quote
Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 There is the Twins postseason luck in a nutshell with the Rosario at bat. And then on the Sano slow roller. This long into it you just have to laugh. Quote
Redneksioux Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Nice to see the game on abc. But can’t leave the bases loaded like that! Quote
Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 D.J. Rayburn not great behind home plate so far. More proof that we need a machine calling balls and strikes. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Josh Reddick gives the Twins a gift. Hang in there Maeda.....get the game to Duffy in the 7th. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Two gifts in the same inning from Reddick????? Maybe 3.....yikes.....two pitches in the wheelhouse. We can't bring in Wisler right? Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Maeda with 5 shutout innings. Go for one more? Quote
Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Alright, time to add on here Twins. Gotta leave Maeda in for thr 6th inning. Looked good that inning Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 They need to jump this pitcher that is on the mound. This is the inning. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 This pitcher is wild! Hey Buxton.... here's your moment. Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Grr... oh well. The Twins will put up runs soon. I can feel it Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 May to face the heart of the Order. Make quick work of them please. Quote
Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 I can understand May coming in the game. Would of went Maeda again, but May is serviceable. You have got to move runners in the postseason. I don't care what the flipping numbers say. Bunt the baseball. Play the game the right way. Quote
UNDMOORHEAD Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Are the playoff umps supposed to be the best the MLB has to offer? Quote

Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Duffey in for the 7th. Leaves a very scary 8th and 9th for the Twins if they don't hit. If he gets through this quickly he has to pitch the 8th. Can't be Romo. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Houston makes a stupid baserunning mistake but its tied now Quote
Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Marwin has got to understand the situation with who is running for Houston. No need to backhand the ball. Knock it down and make the play on a catcher that can't run. 1 Quote
Wilbur Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 Two hits against an Astros team going through the motions. Seventeen in a row could happen. Quote
SiouxScore Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 So a hit because of the shift(2nd of the day for Houston) and a Marwin error gave Houston the opportunity and they jumped on it. Meanwhile the Twins have done nothing really with several opportunities. What in the world is Rocco thinking pinch hitting Garver there? Jeffers absolutely drilled one his last AB just right at the left fielder. Quote
