jdub27 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 UND tips a rebound into UNC's basket. Seems about right. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 A season this bad should only end in the dismissal of Jones as head MBB coach. College coaches should just not be able to survive such an horrific season, particularly 9 years into the job. Faison needs to make the right decision here. Quote

Siouxphan27 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 So many wild shots here towards the end. Wish we'd be more patient and get a good look Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 a chance to tie or win the game... Hooker need the ball in his hands, nobody else Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 you'd got to be kidding me..................... Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 UND drops another. 1 point loss due to questionable officiating at best. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Wrong thread Frank. Thanks for the clarification. Quote
SIOUXFAN97 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 looked like a foul to me...a basic back screen and our guys f it all up... Quote
Siouxphan27 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 looked like a foul to me...a basic back screen and our guys f it all up... I agree. I can't believe he grabbed onto him like that. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 more of the same, and another wasted performance by Hooker, he had 28 Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 I agree. I can't believe he grabbed onto him like that. I must have missed the grab because all I saw what looked like legs were tangled up, it even looked like the ball was passed him before the foul was caused. Frustration with under a minute with a chance to grab the board and we swatted it away to a UNC player... unreal Quote
Risky Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 So close. Earlier in the game, DeRouen had a " breakaway" like in hockey, wide open, no one near him and he missed the shot. And then to make matters worse, he rebounded his own missed bunny and missed another gimme. Inexcuseable. And you lose by 1. Wow. Quote
bincitysioux Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Wasn't able to follow the game tonight, but wow what another heartbreaker. Based on the thread and the tweets sounds like they did a heck of a job getting back into it, and down two starters besides. But it sounds a lot like the game in Sacramento, no reason to be down that much in the first place. What is the deal with Lenny only playing 5 minutes when we are shorthanded to start with? Quote
sioux2013 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Coleman 10 points, 9 rebounds. I really believe he could have done this all year if he was given the chance. The big comeback was without a single senior on the floor in the 2nd half. With the addition of Crandal and the incoming freshmen next year we should be near the top of this league without a doubt. While I appreciate your optimism and hope you are correct (whoever the coach may be), I don't see how we can improve by 8-10 wins in league play. We don't know how good the newcomers will be (or how soon they will be major contributors) plus we still don't know who will rebound for us. At 200 pounds and the 6'8" height possibly being exaggerated, it is unlikely that Bernstine will be a big-time power forward and the three big freshman likely won't add enough poundage in the off-season to be overly effective on the boards. I do agree that Coleman should have seen more court time. Plus, all the other BSC teams will also be doing all they can to improve. Quote

Wow.Didn't get to view/listen to the game but I noticed in the GF Herald today in the box score DeRouen was like 2 or 3 of 10 on fg attempts & 1 for 3 on ft attempts. And Sioux lose by 1 pt. Quote
