Crevec Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 My wife and I were just talking about this. Don't understand how you can possibly call a goal with no puck in the net. Well they did call a no goal WITH a puck in the back of the net so... Quote
scpa0305 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Let's hear it from the shootout haters Quote
Feff Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 That's what gets me. Moore tries to take out Caggiula, totally dirty hit and should be out of the game (thought emphasis was on player safety?) but yet he stays in and ends up netting three goals? What the crap are we teaching kids who are watching? Take a run at the others teams players, you can still stay in the game... Quote
sioux rube Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Let's hear it from the shootout haters Lame. Lame. Lame. Quote
sprig Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Hues now it's a 3 way tire if Miami wins Quote
snova4 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Well they did call a no goal WITH a puck in the back of the net so... True statement. Who knows what goes through their pebble sized minds. Quote
Feff Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 These refs were a total joke and this weekend should be reviewed imo Quote
808287 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Ref's with the intent to blow. Â Obviously a pre game decision. Â 6 more big road points next weekend. Â Â Â GO SIOUX!!!! Quote
cberkas Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 On the first Denver goal everyone watched the puck, if someone goes and gets it on the half boards there wouldn't have been a goal. Denver's last goal was Zane being Zane. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 UND continues to to fail/suck at shootouts. Hopefully this tie doesn't haunt the team in terms of where they end up in the standings. Big missed opportunity. Quote
FightingSioux4 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 what's the diff with Moore if it was a hit from behind or the hit he gave? Shoulda been given a game, for sure. His time will come at nchc tourn....am sure! Quote
808287 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 DU player should be gone. That's dirty, straight up.  He should have been gone.  But he ends up with a hat trick, if you count the shootout goal.  Quote

Big missed opportunity. Â UND is becoming the Minnesota of shootouts. I would have picked Mark over Luke. 1 Quote
UNDBIZ Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Have we converted a single shot in the shoot out yet? Doesn't the team end most practices with breakaways against Zane? We look disinterested once ot ends Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 UND is becoming the Minnesota of shootouts. I would have picked Mark over Luke. Haha, you are right. Guess we can't poke fun at their shootout ineptitude when UND has been just as bad at it. Quote
runaroundsioux Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Shouldn'thave been in this situation. This one's on Zane. 1 Quote
willythekid Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Hak could have picked Nick for the shootout but he would have tried to pass... Quote
Irish Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Tell me again cberkas (from friday thread) how the NCHC has the finest refs in all of college. Â Quote
siouxnami Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Not Zanes finest game, but DU outshot UND and UND did outscore DU 4-3. Quote
scpa0305 Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 Hak could have picked Nick for the shootout but he would have tried to pass... Haha I like that one. I was thinking the same thing when that announcer noted that. Quote
