UNDPUCKS Posted February 1, 2015 Share Posted February 1, 2015 So last weekend, CC had much improved by keeping it close and skating with the boyz at the Ralph and there was talk about being scared to play CC in the first round of the NCHC playoffs. This weekend St. Clown beats CC 7-1 and 6-1 in Colorado Springs. Do we play down to the competition or did CC fold up their tent this weekend? Just wondering. Omaha is currently 4th in Pairwise and Providence 11th. It sounds like CC had a bad weekend after playing several pretty good teams in a row. Godsmack Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 After Friday's blow out loss, Haviland said in the post game show with Ken Landau that several times during the week, he had to stop practice and get on guys for goofing off and not paying attention. The results of Friday came as no surprise to Haviland. He also said that the guys were getting a little high on themselves because of their improved play over the past several weeks and the fact that almost all of their remaining games are at home. Saturday was tough-CC played much better than they did the night before....for 40 minutes. And then the wheels came off in the third.
