MafiaMan Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Don't know if there is a UNO message board but there are alumni mutterings to dump Blais and move on as well. http://www.mavpuck.com/mpboard/ I haven't heard of any such rumblings myself...but I'm sure they are out there... Quote
sprig Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 http://www.mavpuck.com/mpboard/ I haven't heard of any such rumblings myself...but I'm sure they are out there... Not an all out fire the coach flamefest that occurs here after every loss. Rumblings I've heard come from a prof at UNO who is a big hockey fan (and Sioux hater). Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Not an alll out fire the coach flamefest that occurs here after every loss... ...which will no doubt happen here again if UND loses today...or in the Frozen Four semi-finals...or in the NCAA championship game.. Quote
sprig Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 ...which will no doubt happen here again if UND loses today...or in the Frozen Four semi-finals...or in the NCAA championship game.. or after the first loss next year, although with one less argument if the Sioux win 3 more this year. Quote
siouxporter Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Where's Marriucci? I thought Wisconsin was a way better team and would have won the NCHC hands.down. She must be hiding. Quote
scpa0305 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 ...which will no doubt happen here again if UND loses today...or in the Frozen Four semi-finals...or in the NCAA championship game.. I don't think it should, I have seen ferris state play and I honestly don't think they are that good, however, as i and others have stated these one and done games are nuts. If the boys were to make to the frozen four that would be the icing on the cake for me, anything else would be profit to me. Earlier in the year I thought they were way too inconsistent to make it to the frozen four, they have a great chance to surprise me today. Others shouldn't be disappointed with a frozen four loss (of we make it that far). Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Where's Marriucci? I thought Wisconsin was a way better team and would have won the NCHC hands down. He's still busy trying to defend Michigan as not being just a mediocre team... Quote
bigskyvikes Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Where's Marriucci? I thought Wisconsin was a way better team and would have won the NCHC hands.down. She must be hiding. I was curious about this also. I'm sure he is reading, just staying away this time. Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Where's Marriucci? I thought Wisconsin was a way better team and would have won the NCHC hands.down. She must be hiding. Could be wrong but I thought it was Gopher Nation who said that? Quote
siouxporter Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 It was her. Gopher Nation is a straight up troll. Mariucci trys to act like she isn't. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Could be wrong but I thought it was Gopher Nation who said that? It was Mariucci. Gopher Nation was just upset because his mural painting business lost a big contract oppprtunity last weekend... Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 or even if they were to win it because he had only won one. I will tell you that I will not say anything like that. And I don't think most of his critics on this forum will either. Quote
SIOUXELEVENS Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 The NCHC was tough on SOS but playing games against quality opponents each weak probably made us a little better team then we think, no gimmees in this league. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 He's still busy trying to defend Michigan as not being just a mediocre team... The little six is the best league ever, haven't you heard? Quote
burd Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Where's Marriucci? I thought Wisconsin was a way better team and would have won the NCHC hands.down. She must be hiding. Bobby Morris has him curled up in a fetal position on the kitchen floor babbling about Holy Cross. Quote
Dave Berger Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Hakstol: We got good minutes from Stecher and Thompson, and helped us turn around the game. Berry one step ahead of predicting who's coming on from the other bench. These two went hand in hand and made a huge difference. Stecher and Thompson were put in situations where they could be successful as freshman in their first NCAA tournament game. Dave Quote

HockeyisGr8 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 The dry heat must be taking a toll on you this weeked, Oxbow6. C'mon...Yale is the home of the country's oldest inter-collegiate ice hockey team with roots dating back to 1893 and has over 2,000 wins in program history. They may lack NCAA titles, but Yale does NOT lack tradition. Yale = Tradition - maybe? Winning tradition - not so much. Really depends on what one means by tradition. I don't really view Yale as having tradition in hockey anywhere near like I do UCLA or Kentucky in basketball or Notre Dame or USC in football or Denver, Michigan, UND in hockey. Yale has been around a long time, won a lot of games in 121 years sure, but does that equal tradition - to some yes, to others not really. Quote
Goon Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 Yes, I would like to see the GWG from tomorrow against Ferris Consider it done... There you -> Video of the game winning goal is up. 3 Quote
