UNDColorado Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 When you can't read above a 3rd grade level, that is to be expected. Did you play football for the goofers? Come on man, now you are spinning this faster than a washing machine. The NCHC is a top notch hockey conference and anyone who knows anything about hockey will agree. Wisky and the Goofs are definitely true rivals. However, you clearly have not been to Magness Arena in Denver over the past 5+ years. The place was half UND fans and there and the atmosphere was awesome. They are a great rival whether you choose to accept that is your call. Miami will turn into a good rival as well and there are really no true bottom feeders in the conference. The hockey this year was great and we do play Wisky next season. Quote

nodak651 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Just because you want the NCHC to be irrelivent doesn't mean it will become so. Every member has first class coaching, facilities, and support. The conference consists of first rate hockey programs. Please explain why you think this will change... There are plenty of recruits to go around. Quote

johndahl Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 THE NCHC WILL NOT BE THE PREMIER HOCKEY LEAGUE THAT THE BIG 10 WILL BECOME! IMO. /allcaps Thank goodness for that. Hockey is a premier sport at most NCHC schools, not a third-rate afterthought for people who can't get football or basketball tickets. I think the NCHC has every chance to be the powerhouse that the WCHA was, and for decades to come. Quote
darell1976 Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 THE NCHC WILL NOT BE THE PREMIER HOCKEY LEAGUE THAT THE BIG 10 WILL BECOME! IMO. Time will tell my friend. Why don't you think the NCHC won't be a premier hockey conference? Is it because we don't have all DI teams? All FBS teams? All big names in the college sports world? This is hockey!!! What Penn State and Ohio State did on the gridiron doesn't apply to hockey. 2 Quote
Rick Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 IT IS SPELLED HYPOCRITE. YOU MUST HAVE WENT TO NDSU! Proper grammar is "have gone".....You must have gone to NDSU. Quote
dmksioux Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 THE NCHC WILL NOT BE THE PREMIER HOCKEY LEAGUE THAT THE BIG 10 WILL BECOME! IMO. I agree with this to a certain degree. It all depends if the Big 10 wants to become the premier hockey conference or not. The schools and conference certainly have the money and resources to do it but I think there content with where they currently are. If they choose to focus on hockey and dump millions of $$ in to their programs, then they definitely have the potential to be the premier conference in hockey. Quote
Bulk Truck Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Proper grammar is "have gone".....You must have gone to NDSU. It was a test and you will receive an A! And for that matter my "grammar" was very proper! How is your "grammar"? Quote

Your spelling on irrelevant may approach the incorrect assumption on the NCHC IMO. IMO UND hockey has a taken a step sideways and some people even think it may be a backward step from the glory days of the WCHA. Until that degree of tradition and consistent home and home scheduling with the likes of Minnesota and Wisconsin is reinstated nothing will do IMO. Quote

You must not be aware that UND has already scheduled UW for 4 series in the next 5 years and UM has signed a home/home deal with UND, meaning there will be at minimum 12 games with those two teams over the next 5 years. zonadub Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I am meeting with the ROK next week and it is Kelley! I am looking forward to hearing how you think UND can get a hockey-only invitation to the B1G, or even better, how Kelley could have prevented the B1G from forming a hockey conference. Or perhaps you think UND can gain full membership in the B1G? You are as delusional as LakesBison, or maybe you are Lakes! Quote
Dagger Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 There is nothing worse than a bison fan impersonating a UND fan. 1 Quote
