SWSiouxMN Posted September 22, 2013 Author Posted September 22, 2013 UND completes the sweep of the Griz, 25-18 First road sweep of conference foes ever!! Huge 3 game home stretch with Weber, ISU and NDSU coming to town. Would be great to start conference 4-0 and hang a big win over the Bison. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 25-18 UND 3-0 UND Weekend sweep in Montana. Quote
Dustin Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 Very nice way to start the conference season. The girls looked like they had it together tonight, even after being on the road for nearly a month. Very excited to have them at home next week! Could be a rewarding season Quote
Smoggy Posted September 22, 2013 Posted September 22, 2013 So I finally am home to see a game. So glad to have watchbigsky.com. even had some replays last night. One of the best reasons to belong to this conference. And a great start in conference play but that fist loss in like ten games to usd annoys me. Quote

I was surprised too that South Dakota beat them, but I think USD is the team to beat in the Summit League this year. Quote
goyotes Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 The Yotes were picked 4th in the preseason poll behind the 2 Indiana schools and Denver. Really won't know how they stack up against these teams as few if any common opponents in nonconference play. The Yotes are 5 - 0 against the Big Sky this year with wins over both Montana schools, Idaho State & Eastern Washington in addition to UND. Quote
SiouxVolley Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 UND took first set against Weber St, 25-22. Leads in second, 15-9. Won second set, 25-19. Quote

gfhockey Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 are the Montana's and weber any good in Vball? Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 are the Montana's and weber any good in Vball? Average at best. But compared the last year where they dropped 2 5 set games to MSU, and had 2 5 set wins against Weber, this is a good sign. The test is Saturday when ISU comes to town, if we are serious about contenting for the crown we must win this one at home. Quote
SiouxVolley Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 are the Montana's and weber any good in Vball? No. Idaho St, N Colo, and Portland St are expected to be top teams. Last year, UND lost both matches to ISU, so Saturday's match could be one of the more critical matches this season. Quote
mizzou/sioux Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Ladies are off to a great start in conference play. We should know more after the Idaho State contest. Quote
Cratter Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 UND leads Idaho State 2 games to one. Quote
