SWSiouxMN Posted March 9, 2013 Author Posted March 9, 2013 I thought NE winning was a bad thing for us? Is that not true? Yes its bad, but its a moot point if we win tonight. I was saying if we won the auto bid tonight, and NE took the auto bid from HE tomorrow and we would be ahead in pairwise we would jump to the 7 seed. Quote
Cratter Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Game on the radio? Women's hockey is a joke if they don't make the playoffs. Massey ratings has UND the second best women's hockey team in the country right now!!! Quote
WiSioux Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 There is a free webcast for the women's game tonight... I watched some of it yesterday... http://www.mnsportsnetwork.com Just click on the Final Face-Off banner Quote
Cratter Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Zero zero after one. If anyones listening please post updates. Quote
WiSioux Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Zero zero after one. If anyones listening please post updates. I am watching the webcast, but listening to the men's game on the radio Quote
dakotadan Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Minnesota scores a PP goal in the second but it is waved off as it was played with a high stick. We have to stay out of the penalty box if we are going to pull off the upset. Edit: they are reviewing the goal. No good. 0-0 15:45 left in 2nd. Quote
dakotadan Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Minnesota took advantage of the remainer of the power play and scored right after the review. 1-0 Goofers Quote
dakotadan Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Minnie followed up with another goal not even 2 minutes later. 2-0 UM 13:30 left in 2nd. Quote
Cratter Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Phones internet too slow to stream the game. Quote
WiSioux Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 UND women losing 2-0 with 10 left in the second Quote
nodakvindy Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 The loss flipped our comparison with St. Lawrence, looks like the Badgers will sneak in if Northeastern doesn't beat BU. Tough break for the ladies. The parity in the league outside of Minnesota cost UND, with the lack of TUC teams compared to the eastern schools. Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted March 10, 2013 Author Posted March 10, 2013 I give up trying to understand the women's pairwise. Quote
talksalot83 Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 The women's post-game press conference was sad. Lots of emotion from Idalski, Karvinen and MoLam. Monique said that she doesn't think that some people understood when they transferred how much being a part of the Sioux tradition meant to them. I sure hope they get one more game even if that means going back to Ridder. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Sioux women have a heartbeat. BU up 2-0 after the first period. If Wisconsin gets in over UND if BU wins I give up.....I flat out call shenanigans against the women's program. PS: Noora Raty too.....why is she so fricken good? Quote
Wilbur Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Are you watching or listening to the game? Following it via the hockey east website. Is there a game link for a video? 2-1 BU with under 6 in the second. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 After two....still 2-1. Twenty minutes to keep the hopes alive for another couple of hours. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 BU up 6-2 now late in the third period. So its all up to the NC$$ to make the choice now. Quote
WiSioux Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Did they take a goal away? I updated my scoreboard and it went back down... Quote
