Biddco Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Heading over on Saturday. Is the "old DECC lobby" the same spot where they had beer at the DECC? If so, it was pretty hard work to get a beer during periods. So there's two spots - the old DECC lobby and then the beer garden by the lake? Is one better than the other? There is one free spot, its below the DECC lobby and called the Blue Line Club. Its free and smells like cows are kept there. Quote
Biddco Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 I am game if I can shake this crud I have right now. Sweet! Quote
Sioux2007 Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 So back to the hockey game the Sioux have this weekend---where will our fan base gather to watch the game on Friday in the Twin Cities? Sensor's ? Quote
Snake Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 The Friday game is on CBS College Sports. Quote
Kooshnitz Posted February 9, 2012 Author Posted February 9, 2012 The real question remains: What time and where are we all pregamming tomorrow before the game? Quote
ringneck28 Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 I am getting geeked up for this series this weekend. I am so "nicknamed" out and want to get back to what is important. My wife and I are actually gonna try getting to a local bww to watch the game and enjoy with other und hockey fans cheering on the team. Lets make this weekend count. I think we need at least a split and hope for du cc getting swept and omaho and tech to split. Let the race to tampa begin. Quote
bigskyvikes Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Im with you on all but DU getting swept, no bearing to the Sioux, (I think) and hate to see Goofs win!!! Quote
Siouxfull Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 A group of us will be in Duluth for the weekend. Where is the Sioux hang out going to be?! Quote
Wilbur Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 The Friday game is on CBS College Sports. With the superb color analyst abilities of Dave Starman. I for one can't wait. Lets see how many times he says sandpaper.....not kidding....he'll use the term a lot.... Quote
BSUbeaveralum Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Cableone sucks donkey b@//$ I'm hoping tailgaters or a bar in westfrgo or Moorhead has that channel Quote

Lets see how many times he says sandpaper.....not kidding....he'll use the term a lot.... The guy has a massive man crush on Danny Kristo as well. He will have his worst game of the year Friday but Starman will still say he is the best player on the ice. Quote
ringneck28 Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Has the team wore the business suits this year? I can't recall, but I haven't seen every game. I sure would like them to break them out this series. Quote
morley Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Has the team wore the business suits this year? I can't recall, but I haven't seen every game. I sure would like them to break them out this series. They have worn the black jerseys several times this year with some not so good outcomes. So much so that even when I wore my black jersey we lost. I'm only going with green from here on out. Go Sioux!!! Quote
Biddco Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 A group of us will be in Duluth for the weekend. Where is the Sioux hang out going to be?! The lake Canal Park will be swarming I am sure Quote
Goon Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 The lake Canal Park will be swarming I am sure I would think a person would want to go to Old Chicago's at least 2 1/2 hours before the game. Quote
NorthDakotaHockey Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Tonight is the match that should have happened last April 9. Both teams will be jacked up to prove a point, although personnel is obviously different to a degree. Little Swami Sez says that team that wins tonight will sweep the series. This sets up a rare exception to the general rule that the only thing that is more important than a Friday night in the WCHA is a Saturday night in the WCHA. Tonight, in Amzoil, the Friday night game will be huge. Four weekend points to the winner. Somebody gotta keep a body on JT Brown all night long. Quote
bigskyvikes Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I can't wait for this series, pregame with mix drinks and Xbox NHL2012!!! Than HOCKEY HOCKEY HOCKEY, OYE OYE OYE!!!!! Quote

Sandy has the matchup advantage this weekend, and that is significant with these two teams. Quote
BigChief Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 7PM drop of the puck tonight, NOT 7:30PM as posted on the ss.com home page? Quote
brianvf Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I get CBS Sports. Unfortunately, our cable box died last night. Despite Cox saying that they would be out today to fix it...they canceled at the last minute and won't be out until Monday now. WTF. So no game for me. Quote
01grad Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 I get it, but the channel lineup lists Michigan/Michigan State then Gophers/Denver. I was excited all day thinking it was the channel that used to be versus that has had some college games, but I guess it is a different CBS. Quote
