MVC wants St Thomas......this was all to butter up ST to move to MVC.

Fenton probably offered Patty's job after she retires for agreeing to this.

Just do Summit football

so simple a caveman could do it at this point....but assuming fenton is trying to climb the ladder and the safe/easy way is always better and safer for the ladder climbers....

Just do Summit football

or merge/absorb the WAC texas schools and finally put the Summit League down and ....return of the WAC (better brand identity)

uvu-wcc/mwc or something out west

suu and dixie-big sky

arlington-ovc or somewhere southeast

summit adds acu and tarleton and adopts the WAC identity.....

if the big10 (or SEC) asks.....you write whatever check you have to pay....need the invite first obviiously....i know phil knight bought oregon in but if all things are equal how the hell did oregon get in over asu (or other flagship aau schools out west....?)

once a conference get too big its inevitable that a split will happen one way or the other....

at 16 and i bet at least 4 schools are on the big10's radar of course...colorado, utah, asu, and kansas (if their fb stadium thingy gets donesy)

Reading this thread reminds me of an old movie....  The World According to Garp.  RIP Robin Williams.  I am trying to recall if Garp rode a bicycle, very ironic if he did.

Hope you're not sitting in your car in the driveway while scrolling.

North/South being Dakotas + Northern Iowa and Illinois State in the North?

That puts the Texans with Southern Illinois, Indiana State, Youngstown and Murray? Is this to entice the Texas schools by giving them the weak division?

East/West would be MVC + Youngstown East and the Summit (Dakotas + Texas) West, putting the stronger programs in the West. Also would be easier to split Summit football. Then there could be 2 automatic berths.
