I apologize if it had been mentioned earlier, just wondering who they were. Does anyone know why Katie Hale’s son committed to CC and not UND? Quote

There were rumblings of a lower level OHL guy that was quietly committed under Berry. I’m hoping it’s him. Would be interesting to know if he’s had injuries, or if he has been out of the lineup on occasion for other reasons. Not everyone who bleeds green is a perfect fit. Certainly they must have regretted giving up too early on other recruits, so waiting another year certainly wouldn’t hurt if progress goals are communicated. Quote

Pilgrim didn't dress tonight in 1st game of playoffs. Line chart did say injured though. Quote

I pretty much have always seen him listed on the 2nd or 3rd line whenever I’ve seen Tri City’s line chart. So he seems to have a pretty solid lineup spot when healthy. Quote
Clark17 Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Might have a former LVS alumni taking a visit to GF after his season. Quote

Let’s see what he does next year. 1 Quote

I get that but they both played for UND and Katie is an O’Keefe from Grand Forks where her dad was a former player, announcer, head of fundraising and a loyal UND alumni. Did UND recruit Katie Hale’s son? Quote

Popular Post AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted April 16 Popular Post Posted April 16 This kid is what we need. Made some nifty zone entries and passes, created a breakaway and a 2 on 1 by forcing turnovers, vocal leader and a steady focused presence when the game is on the line. He will definitely wear a letter if he stays 4 years, probably in year 3 as well. BONUS: Landon DuPont is a stud, almost tied it in the last minute with some Makar style ankle breaking. Has some growing up to do though; took an offensive zone penalty on the PP that might have been a 5 in NCHC. 1 8 Quote
Popular Post brianvf Posted April 16 Popular Post Posted April 16 Do you wear your UND gear to the games...and if so, has he seen you wearing it? Would be cool for him to see before he even gets to UND that our fanbase will support him any and everywhere. And thanks for the write-up! 5 Quote

I do, and I'm always on or near the glass, but have never tried to get his attention. He hasn't seen my Sioux gear and done a double take or anything. Never went to many games until this season now that they are prospects. They've got a few college commits but don't mention it in their write ups or bios. The top scorer is committed to Denver so they'll butt heads at the next level. 3 Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted April 17 Posted April 17 Zakreski (and future recruit DuPont!) both with assists halfway through the first period tonight. 1 Quote

Did UND recruit Katie Hale’s son? I honestly don’t think he’s the caliber UND typically recruits. And to his benefit, would he want to come here when it’s not obvious? Or go your own route and earn it? Quote
