Sodbuster Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Saturday night game is not listed on this link http://www.wdaz.com/fssn/ I also thought 5 games would be shown on WDAZ, but according to this schedule only 3 will be. I just e-mailed Pat Sweeney about saturday night. He is usually good about getting back to me. I'll let you know here what he says. Quote
The Whistler Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 The BADgers stay bad. Sioux sweep 6-1, 5-2. Of course I could be wrong. Quote
Sioux2007 Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 hmmm....where to watch in the Twin Cities? Do you Sioux fans in goofer land know if Sensor's can get these games? Yes, Sensor's in the Twin Cities area will carry the home Sioux games live. I live in the Cities and go there often for the home games. I've been told the Bloomington Sensors has a lot of Sioux fans, but I've only been to the Eagan one. I won't be there this weekend because I'm making the trip to Sioux Nation for the games!!! Quote
Lobo Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I live out in Montana and have the Dish Network Regional Sports Pack, and my NHL TV Schedule for Friday night, shows Minnesota State at Minnesota. So no Sioux for me this weekend.... Quote

I don't know about whipping ass, it was more like Pat White decided to take the smart route and not get suspended so he decided to defend himself and not throw punches back. I know, weak move, but very smart for us, we need all the players we can. Quote
sagard Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I'll be disappointed if Eaves doesn't snap this weekend. Quote

sioux7>5 Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I talked to Coach Eades on Sunday, he was in Cedar Rapids doing some scouting I think. I just had a few seconds but I asked him how the team was going to be this year. He just smiled and said they will be just fine and not worry at all. I realize he has to believe that as a coach. But i really believed him. He was very nice. There was at least ten scouts there on sunday. I also Cristo play on saturday night here and he looked good but still needs to develop some. Quote

I'd guess that Eades was watching Mike Seidel (leading scorer in the USHL) and Michael Forney. I've only seen Kristo a few times but he's a terrific skater with nice hands. He needs to add some muscle but he'll be very good. Of all the current recruits he's the one that intrigues me the most. Kristo and Danny Mattson could be be a dynamic duo if they stick around long enough. Quote

Chuck Schwartz Posted October 29, 2008 Posted October 29, 2008 I'd guess that Eades was watching Mike Seidel (leading scorer in the USHL) and Michael Forney. Seidel is an 88 and has to go to college next season, UW has less than zero room for next season. Forney wasn't even playing in that game so he wasn't there watching him. Forney plays for Green Bay. He may have also been looking at Mike Johnson who leads the USHL in goal (1.69 GAA, .938 SA%) Possibly, but not real likely. Wisconsin already has Aaron Crandall committed for next season in goal.
