RankingsThis is a list of college commits..hope it helps.

Thanks. I also found if you go to NHL.com and hover over the News menu there is an NHL Entry Draft option. Here there was an article titled "Tavares, Hedman top midterm draft lists". If you click on that article there were links halfway down on the right to the NA and European skaters and goalies rankings.

I was surprised at how much digging I had to do to find this. I would have thought that there would be a central place to find this information fairly easily. Guess not.

Mattson, U.S. win Five Nations

Nick Mattson and the U.S. Under-18 team finished off a nice warmup for the IIHF U18 tournament, which will be held in Fargo in April.

The U18s won the Five Nations Cup this morning in Sweden by sweeping through a field of tough competition. The Americans beat the host Swedes, the Czech Republic, Finland and Russia in going 4-0.

Mattson, a 2010 defenseman recruit, had four assist in the four games, including a pair of assists this morning in a 5-3 victory over Russia.

The U18s have been perfect in international competition, going 8-0. The team also won the Four Nations Cup in the U.S. earlier this season.

The big IIHF tournament will be held April 9-19.

It's funny looking at that list:

2 Mankato recruits

2 Duluth Recruits

but only

1 Wisco recruit

1 Gopher recruit

1 Sioux recruit

That's either saying something good about Duluth/Mankato's recruiting, or that these guys are really good, but not future superstars. I'm not saying that if the latter is true that they won't be great college players, but they aren't going to be an NHL top-3 liner.

i bet there are a few nice nhl players in this mix when all said and done and budish would have been on this list as well and he will be a higher nhl pick still after the injury

Hopefully, the coaching staff is making note of another freshmen Hopkins player. A few years ago it was Fink, now it's Travis Boyd lighting it up at Hopkins.

Holy cow those are impressive numbers. There is a kid from Saint Francis Minnesota Joey Benik that has scored 62

goals this season.
