Good luck to Wemtz but I just don't see it happening until he plays at the highest level and I see him perform. I could be wrong or right . i like how you notice drakes and Brock's talent but I'm pretty sure caggs is not drafted. He is one of the best goal scores in college but does not quite have the ideal measure-ables for the nhl. Maybe now you see that anyone can be wrong when judging talent ! You need to be elite to perform well at qb in the nfl

He has to move up two levels. So a little different for him compared to those in the FBS .

I'm not he one who started the weak QB prospects story. I'm pretty sure that's what they have been saying all year. wentz will be decimated when he stares down receivers while under pressure from a pro dline and a weak oline. We have not seen him play under much pressure in his career and now the defenses just got a whole lot better. Who ever drafts him better not plan to start him. If he has the potential he is going to need to be coached up to the next level QB skills. Geaux sioux your the one who is butt hurt because your lame logos didn't get picked by UND......

If I was a scout for a team that didn't need a QB I would talk him up too so that another team wastes their first round pick. I think he will be decimated by a pro secondary unless he learns under a veteran . This QB class is in fact the weakest in a decade because there is no way he is the best college QB in the country.

Was Wanzek a hush hush deal? Have not heard of us recruiting him until they got a verbal. Did we keep him on the down low to avoid other competition recruiting him?

What a crock of bull if student fees go up to pay for FCOA for sports no one follows or care about like track, soccer swimming , women's hockey, baseball. College is about getting an education and not about sports. This crazy student debt is ridiculous as it is.

Give him a year off and leave an offer open for him. Hopefully he realizes it may be a mistake and comes back. Grand forks is a great place to be while getting a degree. If he kept developing could he have been good enough for the NFL?

Back on topic...... should UND be disappointed they have not gathered the bandwagon fan base as NDSU has? I don't think we would want those kind of fans anyways. Will the bandwagon be there after some consecutive losing seasons? If you want a laugh just ask a bison fan who the coach of the bison was in the 90's? Majority of those bandwagoners could not answer that. I grew up playing hockey and football in ND and NDSU was never on my radar ( granted UND was on top then). Were their games even on TV? Truly legit to people outside of ND? maybe to the people of Frisco and Plano and the FCS fanbases that actually care. No one in the country cares about these 5 titles just like I don't care about the D2 or D3 titles because they are at a level below what my team is. I do agree his resume is stacked more than others applying for an G5 FCS job. Will losing good coach after good coach eventually bring the dynasty down?

Isn't that sad that after 5 titles they are still wondering "now what?". It will be devastating to their programs if they don't continue this success. Will the fans continue to support the team after a few losing seasons? What happens if UND rises to the top of the FCS and someday knocks the bison off? Will they wish they would have moved up the FBS while they may have had a chance? They will always have this history of success but what do they do when their present is not so bright? They would be better off with losing seasons at the FBS level than the FCS level.

He ESPN mobile website shows how big this game was to the nation. Not even one mention. FCS is a niche league even though there is nothing wrong with winning 5 titles. That will simply be legendary feat in FCS football that won't be matched again.

He already proved himself with this title. Young team and still win. He may get a G5 offer if there are any good places looking for a coach

ha comparing the bison to only MAC teams? I would tread lightly on the better than most of the G5 comments. Your fanbase may get bored with the unimportant bowl games

why play for the bison over another G5 team? They have proven nothing at the FBS level because they have not played a full season. The bison are at the top of the FCS and therefore can get the best recruits at that level and sometime steal some good G5 level recruits. How do they not lose their advantage if they move up?

How would the bison benefit from going FBS if they are not in a p5 conference? Their recruiting advantage will dissolve if they are only a G5 team.

You guys are all over looking men's basketball. They have the greatest potential to bring notariety to UND especially if they win a game in the big dance. BF should put more into that programs if he wants to grow the athletic department and possibly afford FBS Football.

Bowling green looks really tough. Their offense looks stout and their defense looks huge. I think it will be one of the tougher FBS games we will see especially after them winning the MAC
