They are dirt cheap because there is no demand. Saves us some money to pay for overpriced beer. One day it won't be so easy to get a ticket
-
This offend you or something ? Just stating the obvious.
-
If the bison could sell their tickets for $20 more per game why wouldn't they? It would be dam stupid to be selling underpriced tickets with such a high demand. Is it because the Fargo hicks can't afford a more expensive ticket? I guess the trailer has to stay heated some how......

Just think what a winning season will do for the program. I think alerus will be rocking in no time !!!!
-
How many times do we have to bring this up ? Ban the troll !!!
-
Excited that we are beefing up our defense with some serious talent! I wish we had Bubba years ago. If Muss could give those Cali FBS teams a run for their money I can only imagine what bubba will do in the future

Don't you think the new logo will catch on since it is such an inspiring representative of what UND stands for? You really think if people can still buy sioux apparel that fans will never adopt the new logo even with the new athletic branding and broadcast marketing changes? UND is already losing a lot of money by retiring the logo and I don't see it ever getting back to the level it was at with the sioux logo. The logo Brien created does have a lot of meaning to the sioux people. They are the ones who gave us the approval to use it by voting for it and by a traditional ceremony. Of course they have no legal right to it without UND's permission. UND probably would have hadboth tribes in favor of they would have shared the revenue from the logo/name. We would still be ahead financially after paying the tribes a portion compared to what we have lost in sales and th sales level that we will never reach again.
-
At the rally they should discuss giving the logo to spirit lake to use. UND no longer uses it so it is a shame for it to be thrown in a locked closet. UND can pick a new nickname and we will all move on!
-
Your right about part 1 and what could happen with competing logos. I do think UND will be able to market the new logo with or without the logo and all it will take is time. I disagree with your part 2. The ncaa has a legal agreement with UND that hey can let spirit lake use and sell merchandise with the logo. They cannot punish us if we follow the agreement. Just because they didn't create or build the logo does not mean they do not have the right to use it. It's their name that we are using and with UND's permission they have every legal right. Keeping the logo from them is as hostile and abusive as using the logo at UND.
-
I was very proud of last years defense. With the offense going many 3 and outs they still held strong. In the first few games didn't they have like half of the points scored by UND? Sad stat for the teams but shows the defense was dominant.

The case for North Dakota as a standalone name (not a Sioux endorsemen
Sioux>Bison replied to ClassB's topic in UND Nickname
No matter what nickname I will always say Sioux unless something else catches on I guess -
I guess I'm thinking who cares if they take control of it? We can never use it again and we will be moving on so I don't see a reason to keep it when a tribe can use it. I don't see how they can abuse it since it represents their people. It can help generate extra funds for reservation programs. If UND is making me move on then maybe they should do the same?

I was just trying to put the troll in his place . I just think things may be different for wentz without his star backfield behind him. Is his receiver core going to stay on track? He does have his hogs back so that may help a lot. Your right he has only showed us one season.
-
Why don't you go cry about it on bisonville ? If you can't take the ridicule coming onto a rival website and calling people racist yourself then maybe you should rethink posting. Go where you belong troll .....
-
I thought I had read something that either the university or the tribes could use the logo. It's a shame they can't give it to the tribe.
-
Maybe the whinny trolls will go bicker there and maybe we can get this thread back on track. Carson could be a bust but we will have to wait and see
-
I bet they were also racist as puck against they blacks. I bet none of them would fight next to a black man. Just because they fought hitler doesn't absolve them of being racist.
-
The university needs to stop suppressing the rights of the Sioux people and should return the rights to the logo to the Sioux tribes. Some may use it and some may not but it should be THEIR CHOICE! I don't care if they ever approve the logo for UND to use. Keeping the logo from the Sioux people makes the university racist and Kelley should be ashamed .
-
Ralph did that stuff on his personal time and obviously did not flaunt it to the public since it was kept fairly secret. I bet some of your grand parents were as racist as Ralph may have been? You going to trash your own ancestors too now? Mods I think it is about time to ban this dumb puck troll.....
-
Great pickup for the Sioux ! I don't know how UND fans couldn't be pumped for the future! Be ready big sky.... He will be rewarded by coming to UND as our past stars have great exposure to the CFL if the NFL doesn't work out.

Vote on your final 5 nickname choices (just ND is out)
Sioux>Bison replied to jimdahl's topic in UND Nickname
Roughriders or bust! If the committee and the consulting firm can't see how this name is the only one remaining that actually means something to ND they need to be canned ! It is the only name to come as close to replacing the sioux name as anything else. Bombers or Sodbusters or Plainsmen could have been good names with a good logo -
If they are going to review trademark information does that mean that they are going to finally realize the Dallas Stars are only going to sell us the rights to north stars for a huge sum of money? I don't know why it's on the list if we will have to buy the rights from someone

Is there any way we can bring Ryan Chappel out of the fast food retirement and get back a dominant running back? I'm getting really concerned of how lean we are at that position. It would be nice to have a Hanson type of transfer get ready incase of any injuries.
