finishing 6-5 would be a huge step for the program even if we do not make the playoffs. Winning last weekend resurrected the season. Without that win being 6-5 wouldn't feel as good.

I can't wait for nov 13! We have a good future UND football fans whether we make the playoffs or not . I also think studs has proved to us that he is the go to QB . He made the passes when it counted. A 7-4 season with no playoff birth would only leave this team wanting more and next year they will be even better.

Our great rushing needs to continue and I think will have no problem. I think there is a real possibility Santiago runs for over 200. All we need is for the few passing plays to be successful and then we should be able to play the offensive shootout. All our defense has to play is good. They don't need to shut out msu but they need to stop some drives. This game is when we will see certain guys step up and show their development. We also need to create some turnovers and it's bound to happen with our luck. If we also quit fumbling the dam ball it would help greatly. Thank god this game is at home!

studs is not going to wins us games with the passing game like he has against good teams. That is literally ever playoff game. He obviously is good enough against some poor big fluffy defenses

It's going to be a blessing in the future that we had to play a walk on so early in he season. Our offense needs to play with the urgency that they need goals to make up for any inexperience in goal that may affect the team. If the team can gain confidence playing with their backup just think how they can play with tomek. We are just darn lucky to have the injuries so early in the season instead of so late. The offense this year needs to light it up all year long . It's nice being a hockey school where we can recruit great practice squad and potential backup goalies from our own student body . Can't wait for march/ April!

If I were to pick to be 2-2 against Montana Montana state Wyoming and NDSU or be 6-1 this year I would pick the big wins over it all. We need to gain some respect and my pick could still happen this year. So much confidence can come from these next games. Maybe it will tell us to show up every week like it is Wyoming . I'm pumped for this game because Montana is actually beatable with their injuries. This game will show us how we compete when both teams have an injured lineup. I really don't care who UND plays because even the backups need this big time experience if we want to be good in the future. I would love beating Montana with a bunch of our backups. I think this game will be good for our team to really focus and prepare to get better. I don't wanna talk about playoffs because we are not ready but if we can make this kind of run next year we will be a contender. I just wanna see us play better win or lose this week no matter who is playing. Let's focus like its Wyoming all over again!

nothing closer to the truth than this. The last two losses sting but we are not good enough to compete in the playoffs anyways. We are learning this season what it's going to take to win these close games and what positions we need to improve at. I'm not too disappointed in bartles performance. The first half of the season was great but we have a lot of developing to do before we can expect our team to be 6-1.
