Northern Colorado ? Weber state ? Portland state ? Southern Utah ? Cyclones ? Nothern Arizona lumber jacks? I think I'm forgetting some of the schools Man some of these schools need to get new nicknames or work on their branding department Why should we adopt a logo if the choices are lame and not meaningful?

These consultants must have gone to college in MN because they have been trying to persuade the committee to not vote for rough riders and to vote for a dumb Hawks name. We need to quit wasting money and fire them. I don't care what urban dictionary says about rough riders because that is not what the name Means to me. It's not like the Stanford Cardinal or the Harvard Crimson is an imaginative name. There is also the big green. I don't think those can really be called a mascot. I don't have problem with adopting a lame color or thing such as spirit so we can just call the team North Dakota. If we don't select North Dakota , Calvary, rough riders , or the north stars I really don't think the new name will take hold with the fans. What the hell is a sundog anyways?

Jealous of what? 4 championships and game day you dang right I am. It's just the arrogance of some of these bison fans that bothers me. If I did have those championships I definately would not be expecting the whole college football world (you know the most watched is FBS) to bow down to me because of FCS championships. I decided not to jump on the bandwagon like many fans in he state and they sure did not act like they have been there before. We will see if any flip once UND gets back on track. Good luck with Montana, they are no pushover in the post Crockett era.......

Those dip sticks on bisonville aka FU trailer park don't want to have real discussions about the rivalry. They don't have much common sense over there. I'm glad I don't have to hear this year all about how they would win the big 12 after beating just one crappy FBS team every year.

Bison fans are bunch of scared girls. They know they won't be on top forever so they act tough as a false front. The state wants his game and has waited long enough to renew it. All you Bison doubters will realize who is your real rival. How long has bison football been relevant to the state of ND? 7 years? UND may not win this year but it is only a matter of time......

Pretty cool to see he used UND as a stepping stone rather than staying in fbs another year. I wonder if that helped with his exposure to the CFL? Congrats!

These people think the student government to give them thousands of dollars to pay for a powwow that barely any students attend and if they resist they are called racist. It's a huge waste of money to pay dancers to come dance at a powwow. IF they really liked doing it they would do it for free instead of wasting student fees. Maybe these people get dirty looks because they call the students racist.........

I think coaching lost this game . All his fault and should be fired with hak!

This team was as prepared as it gets. We didn't have the luck. Hak is he best coach at the D1 level. Even if hak won the title every 10 years some of you would still complain!

I think we dominated them most of the game. We just don't have he luck in the frozen four. I wasn't even impressed by erckle or whatever his name is. Two open net goals and a simple pass at the blue line were not spectacular plays in my eyes. I wanted to pull my hair out every time the announcers said ca"Julia" Man this sucks

With all you law experts out there I cant believe we can't go back to the old flicker tails logo. What is as harmless as a rodent? There is no way the ncaa won't let us go back to that logo so there is also no way we can't just use the ND logo
