    Studsrud was by all accounts a great locker room guy, but I have to believe the on-field results will improve with either Zimmerman or Ketteringham out there. Zim looked great in limited action last year (and was willing to look downfield despite Rudy).

    I like the way he talks as well, but acting like this was a choice is likely disingenuous. Understand he has to try to defend the player though.

    People wonder why Grand Forks struggles and this is another example of why. A Fargo-based store with 1 Grand Forks location finds a relationship with the most important partner in Grand Forks to be more valuable than a Grand Forks-based store with 5 greater Grand Forks locations.

    Funding for building projects is a bit more specific I guess, probably because of the publicity that comes with it. Spend some state money (which has been mixed with tuition money so you don't really know what's what) on athletics and message board rubes complain about what they think they might know. Spend state money on a building project and it's on the front page of the paper.

    The state gives every school a set amount of money based on student credits. What each school does with that money is up to the school.

    Even just when the 2017-18 numbers come in, they should be quite higher for ticket revenue. Increased prices in hockey and an extra 1,500 people per game at the Alerus.
