Give us your best guess as to the businesses who are unlikely to ever re-open their doors or, if they do, it will be short-lived. Is this the perfect time for small businesses to fold? What about underperforming locations for regional/national chains? New businesses? Established players? (Insider information is 100% welcome.)

I looked back several years and did not see a one-place-fits-all thread for driving, traffic, construction, etc., so have at it, boys and girls! Saw this at the Herald's website just now, http://www.grandforksherald.com/news/4092767-police-beefing-traffic-enforcement-gateway-drive There are only a couple of possibilities here: (1) people are scofflaws, or (2) the posted speed limits are too low. The North Dakota Legislature appears likely to be sending to the Governor a bill permitting cities to install parking meters. How does the thought of having to pay to park affect your downtown dining options? Assume for the sake of argument that the meters will be active 7 days a week, and during lunch and dinner hours, and will take credit cards/pay by phone, and that the app is easily downloaded and user-friendly.

In a column/article about UND hockey, longtime Herald sports writer Tom Miller dropped this bomb: Really, Tom? You had to go there? It's 2017. We're several years removed from the previous regime, we've grown, we've matured, we've tasted success, we've made the playoffs, and we are full of hope and optimism for the first time in a long time.
