  1. Pretty sure it's sarcasm coming from Stoney.
  2. I don't recall the REA nor the foundation ever speaking in support of retaining WIH.
  3. It is definitely a sloppy grinder. Need 2 hands and several napkins.
  4. No idea what actually flows to the foundation from REA inc and I doubt REA inc sees any alerus concessions and such, but being generous (and rounding for simple math) we'd be talking 5 games * $20 per ticket * 9,000 tickets = $900,000 * 52% = $468,000 going to REA.
  5. Has picked up offers from Fordham and Holy Cross.
  6. 6'3" 185# DB out of Kansas. Has offers from SIU, WIU, and UT-Martin.
  7. That was actually a new ploy pulled by ndsu a few years later when the state told them they could only build their new business school with non-state funds. Pretty sure that specific method of getting a new building is illegal now.
  8. The football, basketball, and volleyball ticket split isn't.
  9. There were other ways to get it built. Could have had the Foundation bond for it and paid them rent to pay the bond.
  10. They're one year agreements.
  11. Is the REA in existence for the benefit of UND athletics, or the Engelstad Foundation?
  12. I like Landers. It's so different from RP I don't even compare the 2 though. The Pier grinder is also pretty good, but again, nothing like RP.
  13. Anyone willing to throw away $6 trying it and reporting back to the rest of us?
  14. The timing of the change certainly seems to coincide with the new location.
  15. The rest of campus has had to endure severe budget cuts due to the 15%+ cut from the state. Has the REA done anything to tighten its belt the past couple years?
  16. And who picked those board members? What qualifications, beyond her maiden name, does McGarry have to be on those boards?
  17. Fargo location has never used Hugo's bread. Nobody complained about it because they were happy to take whatever they could get in Fargo. Issue seems to be the Wild Hog location.
  18. Why is Hugo's suddenly unable to reliably supply the University and 42nd St locations?
  19. So aren't the Engelstad Foundation and REA Board/Foundation 2 separate things?
  20. Is it the Engelstad Foundation? I really don't know.
  21. Who picks the board members? Honest question.
  22. Well at least according to McGarry, Kennedy was tactless in his attempts at renegotiation.
  23. Pretty sure it's just a straight-forward rental agreement with the city, regardless of tickets sold.
