Not here to upset anyone. From what I gathered following via phone updates, Muss took a risk for a change and tried a fake punt to make something happen? Then the floodgates opened? Seemed like a fine game until that all happened? How bout EWU staging the late comeback eh? Goodness the Sky is whacked out this year.

This years UNI I think finishes with 4-5 losses. 2 BCS games and a year where the conference appears to be very good. But if you'd like, I'll edit my statement to say a "bad year by UNI standards."

Solid burn. Even if UNI sucked that year, solid burn. If UND students don't show up in big numbers(by UND standards) I find that very weird. Last game had a lot of scoring, students like that.

One would imagine it'd end up resulting in a split so that the collection of teams gets at least two bids. 14 teams fighting for one bid seems rough, now if you are/were the Big East and a lot of teams will make it regardless, you don't have that program.

I don't think anyone is happy about weaker competition, at least they won't be when NDSU is potentially having a Woodside-esque season and gets a 16 seed rather than a 14. If Oakland stays for the time being, I am content.

It will make it easier for people to know who is playing. Until I got to college I admit I wasn't entirely positive what some of the names meant. Minnesota State- Mankato....I usually hear them called Mankato. University of Minnesota- Duluth.....I hear them called Duluth. So what is so awful about calling UMKC Kansas City?

How many times do people have to point out they will just be calling them "Kansas City" or "Omaha" for example rather than UMKC or UNO before it you catch on?

I've partied in Grand Forks and Fargo enough times and been to "blacklight" parties in both places. I have never heard of a blackout party. Are you sure you don't have the two things mixed up?

I believe they just changed what it will say on the tickers and schedules. I don't see a problem with calling UMKC, Kansas City. Same with Fort Wayne. It was App vs. Michigan. Point taken though.

Have looked very average so far. Maybe just not playing well, who knows. Trouble with Drake? Shamwow. UNI is a good team without any doubt. Indiana State is up. Meaning better than they normally are. They are known for being no good.

Montana is down. Montana State is down. Those two statements are based on out of conference performances. ISU-R, ISU-B are both up. NDSU is NDSU. UNI is UNI. Youngstown is back. SDSU might be good. Right now the Valley is up and the two traditional powers in the Big Sky are down. Can't blame people for maybe questioning the Big Sky at this point in time. Whoever wins the Big Sky this year is going to kinda be like Andy Roddick when he won the US Open. After Sampras, before Federer, between powers.

Well it is in North Dakota.... Also, I believe the teams such as South Dakota State and USD won't be referred to on the ticker any differently.

Fargo is about as metropolitan as you are going to find up here.

Is there something wrong with a beat writer putting a nice article in the paper about a team that has received some negativity? I'm sure UND writers have done similar things. Nice to read that some of them are doing a nice job in the community.
