That is the thing in a properly sized league where you play everyone twice. If you make it to the final you've already played twice.

Matchups giveth and matchups taketh away. Went to both NDSU/UND games this year. NDSU is a better team but teams lose to lesser teams all the time. The only result that would surprise me is if UND won comfortably.

Genuinely curious what the officials would have done if the two had said "we are playing 5x5. No shootouts. 20 minute periods." Was the olympic committee going to come in and shut the lights off and DQ the teams?

Not sure what benefit UND or SDSU would provide the PAC when the PAC could just raid the MWC. The Montana's at least conceptually make sense.

I think most G6 places (and even many P4), attendance is highly variable based on how well the team is doing. Air Force maybe is an exception. I think they are fairly consistent because of factors that don't apply to other schools (glut of military in/around Colorado Springs).

I presume they all have the means to fund what they want to fund. Whether that is half-assing I guess might be in the eye of the beholder.

I dont need to get money for football. NDSU does. They'll figure it out or they won't. Nothing I do will have any impact on that.

Not to my knowledge. But im not posting about flagships, the Twin Cities, or Omaha as it pertains to UND, SDSU, and USD joining the Big Sky.
