I think NDSU and SDSU are in the top ten. I don't think NDSU or SDSU will get in but still, name ten teams that the MVC would be more interested in realistically adding.

Sure does. Difference is NDSU proved before those poor seasons that NDSU was capable of competing at the FCS level. That isn't to say UND can't. But UND simple didn't have a good transition(this has been discussed many times. this thread is pointless.).

How do you know that? UND could remain a 5-6 or 6-5 type team for the rest of eternity.

I don't think anyone could even make a reasonable argument at this point as to how UND would compete with NDSU. Can UND stop the run? Nope. Can UND stop even an average passing game? Probably not. Can UND score against a good defense? Who knows....what we do know is that they couldn't do anything against EWU or MSU, neither of whom had particularly good defenses.

I am about as right wing as it gets on most issues. Taunting a school about an admin/coach raping children....is too far.

Good question. Probably the guy who had been coaching longer...or at least that is how it should be. Craig Bohl also has a couple of titles. Dale Lennon ran a great program into mediocrity.

I am really interested in how you know why Gene does what he does. You are insinuating that NDSU went D-I to escape UND. Takes away all credibility from the post. Rivalries are cyclical. UND had a very good run against NDSU for a period of time.

You said if NDSU looks at UND as a Robert Morris or Prairie View that NDSU should have no problem scheduling them. NDSU would never make a return trip to Prairie View or Bob Morris. So if NDSU looks at UND as a PV, why would NDSU agree to a contract that would involve playing in Grand Forks? Just shooting holes in your points sir.

If UND offered to come to the Fargodome with no return trip you'd have a good argument.
