  1. I hear you talk about RPI more than anyone else. If SCSU and Mankato came, I'd have no problem with that.
  2. Sweet deal for that football stadium. Don't know anyone who claimed NDSU "hurt" Colorado State anywhere except on the football field. Though tell me more about how wonderful the Big Sky is. Did UND get some big attendance bumps in football this past season...you know, with this Big Sky competition coming to town and what not?
  3. If the Summit makes offers that can save UND money in non-revenue sports, it'd be worth listening to.
  4. Far from it. I have simply memorialized the time he spent on Bisonville. You can probably find some WW2 monuments in Germany too.
  5. Don't give his website the traffic.
  6. Probably the same sort of guys who shut them down last season.
  7. A.) Very good video. Made Grand Forks look bearable B.) girl at 2:11...friend from high school. i'll have to have her check the video out.
  8. SDSU was fortunate. UND also lost to SDSU by what? 30 or 40 last year? UND didn't just lose to NDSU in men's ball, they got pounded. In 3 games against NDSU in D-I, UND has gotten beaten down twice. UND is better at volleyball. NDSU is getting worse. Unless something big happens, I don't expect that to change. NDSU and UND women's basketball are both awful...which is really too bad. Baseball was a 4-game split. Nothing to get all excited about.
  9. The same UMKC that UND lost to at home that NDSU beat by 19 and 37 points. You probably should just keep quiet about the basketball teams. Men's basketball has traditionally been pretty average at NDSU. The fact that NDSU has won a conference title in D-I is not too shabby. You'd also be wise to not talk a whole lot of game about NDSU winning the Summit only once, considering UND's (lack of) success against the Summit basketball teams. Women's sports are bonus, no one really cares about them unless the team is doing really good.
  10. You ever been on here after the hockey team gets pounded?
  11. Lol, SHE has a criminal justice degree I believe. Her 'SU brother runs the farm!
  12. Congrats. I had a friend graduate Summa Cum Laude up in Forks yesterday!
  13. Sell. 1-2. Worst Montana team in years gave UND all it could handle. SDSU does enough to win.
  14. UND didn't win a game against Summit competition last year. Lost to NDSU(real butt-whoopin!), SDSU(close game though!), UMKC(at home), and UNO. Summit usually seems to have 2-3 teams who can say they think they got a good shot at the tourney. Isn't the Big Sky similar with Montana and Weber? SIU probably wouldn't vote for UND. They are MVC. Missouri State probably wouldn't vote for UND. They are also MVC. Some MVC teams don't like traveling to the Dakota's the way it is.
  15. Fun fact. Yotes snagged a win against a playoff team. UND....well... Exactly.
  16. you neglected the point at the end where he said reach a core number of schools. I'd be fine with that. I'd still rather NDSU get into the Horizon but hey, whatever gets our teams to the postseason is fine by me.
  17. It'd just be people guessing. I don't think NDSU would take off to the Big Sky unless it was absolutely vital. MVFC is a wonderful home for football and I can't imagine NDSU wanting to leave that behind for the Big Sky. I'm sure you could have an interesting chat with Gene Taylor about it though! His opinion is a lot more important!
  18. Eh, I was too young to be bitter about it. I like the midwestern feel.
  19. They can say what they want. Maybe that was the case and they changed their mind from awhile back. A few years back the Big 10 wouldn't have probably taken Rutgers or Maryland. A few years back the Big East wouldn't have taken San Diego State. Re-Alignment has been an interesting thing. Are you of the opinion that UND-USD was more attractive than NDSU-SDSU?
  20. Lower travel costs do allow for NDSU to spend money in other areas of the athletic department. The hatred towards the BSC comes from A.) being told no in favor of UNC, which probably made sense for them at the time. Obviously in retrospect, I'm sure the BSC would rather have had NDSU. The conditions on which UND got in seem to be quite different than when NDSU was working on getting in. I think having a conversation off the record with Mr. Fullerton would be quite interesting.
  21. Someone is mighty uptight about a joke.
  22. I would take the Summit's word over the UND administration. Never a good idea for a president or administration to admit that they didn't want the nickname in Grand Forks.
