Very interesting to say the least as it makes total sense given the current additions; or at least we are now fully equipped to let the ball fly a bit more. Do me a favor and keep going to the practices and report back your findings. I really wish there was more in depth video coverage of spring ball so us armchair qb's can weigh in! You are right, however the week prior at the WCHA Final Five the Minnesota and UND game was a sellout at 18k plus. Now mooooooove on!

Good point; just another empty excuse! On the other hand I enjoyed driving up to Greeley from Denver last year to watch the boys play Northern Colorado, and I will do the same this year when we visit again. The attendance for that game was a sad 3,000; at least 500 were Sioux fans and many I met lived in Colorado. My point is it will be pretty hard for Nodak UND fans to go to many away Big Sky games (other than Montana and M State as it would be well worth the 10 hour drive) but it is sure nice for Alumni out west in places like Denver, Utah, Cali, etc.

At this point that is all I am looking for. I keep hearing rumors of all sorts of FCS schools looking to move up (basically the ones we would want to play) and I just don't want to be left behind again. I like FCS but not sure what it will look like in 10 years.

The only thing we can do is be ready for what is best for US when the time comes. I think SiouxFan is right in that 10 years time FCS football may be an equivilant to what DII football is now. I just get the feeling that FCS is not the final solution. Any thoughts?

Well said. I am also not a fan of not seeing a single UND highlight all afternoon and evening. they seem to show every other games' highlights but ours. On the flip side I bet if western beat us they would have been showing it all day. Just win boys!

The reality is that the majority of people who are saying that they will not donate to UND if they drop the name actually never have donated in the first place. I believe the Champions club had a record year.

For those in Denver Jackson's on 20th street by Coors field is the place to go for UND hockey. I called yesterday to ask them if they were showing the UND game and their answer was "hell yes." Pretty cool spot!

The majority of us are not "anti nickname" but rather "anti destroy UND athletics." Unbelievable

I have Directv out here in colorado with the sports pack add-on so I am able to get FSN as well as FCS. If the bar you are at in vegas has directv you should be able to see it.
