The student support is a joke; plain and simple! What burns me is the students seem to have the "we have better things to do" mentality, but I know from experience that there really is not. Even if the excuse is that they are partying, the game was at one; you cant tell me that you are drinking from noon to 2 AM on a regular basis. It just boggles me that no students are showing up. Last Saturday I went to Arizona at Colorado and those students showed up in full force to support a 1-8 team at the time. They were loud and proud and CU pulled it out. In Boulder there are a ton of things to do at any given time and they still showed up. There is no excuse for UND students not to show up. They are pathetic right now.

Expect the MTN to invite Utah State and San Jose State. C-USA will raid the WAC and Sun Belt; but I am not certain enough to even speculate on which teams they will want. I do know that Idaho may be left out to dry and the Big Sky for football may be their only option. Star previously predicted that the WAC will turn into a non-football conference and I think that is exactly the scenario what will play out.

I happen to work for a company that has been invested in by Google Ventures and the Foundry Group and I dabble from time to time because it is a much better and safer stress reliever than booze. That is a good question. At this point if Utah State and SJSU move the the MTN then their best play will be to come back to the Big Sky. I highly doubt conference USA will take them and all of the Sun Belt teams will never want or even afford to travel there. I also doubt the MTN will take them...

It could be that the students do have the tickets but don't make it to the game for one reason or another (beer). I missed a few games back in the day because the party was too fun to leave. Not a good excuse at all but I would bet on that as a major contributor to lower than average attendance. The semester tuition for football is a great idea!

LAX is an awesome sport and the Al would be a great facility. I would make sure to plan one of my yearly trips up to Nodak to catch a game. Next year I am going to plan my fall hunting trip to overlap the Montana @ UND football game

They are bad no doubt. But I do see UNC licence plate things and bumper stickers; not a huge presence in the grand scope but not small either. You really have no idea what you are talking about.

These arguments are fine but the kicker is we will make it work quite well and a couple years down the road you will be scratching your head going "gee, maybe we should have taken a chance when we had it." How would you know that? Do you spend time here regularly? You are just trying to push your own agenda and use whatever you can to get there. The Altitude Network is on basic cable out here btw. So "nobody" watching here is more people than the Fargo market ever will be; that is a fact.
