  1. Tom Miller ‏@tommillergf UND AD Brian Faison says tentative dates set for resuming Sioux-Bison football rivalry. 2015 in Fargo, 2017 in GF.
  2. Thanks for the link; just donated as well!
  3. Here is a good article that talks about relegation from BCS down to NAIA. Now Bison fans don't read to much into this as I understand the last conference realignment type of article caused a bit of a stir (herd); so just look at this as an interesting read. http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/2012/5/16/3022653/conference-realignment-college-football-relegation
  4. They lost their starting running back and QB from last season; along with quite a few starters. That will help our chances but still an uphill battle. I am really hoping to be able to watch that one on the tube or net.
  5. I graduated from Devils Lake High in 03; that year in football we couldn't wear our pants with the logo and at the state hockey tournament we were just Devils Lake Then of course I choose a university with a nickname issue. This crap is fit for the big screen lol You are right btw, my parents and brother live there and everyone has moved on. Just like the Sioux logo I still love my retired high school hockey logo.
  6. As we were debating the idea of a possible split I stumbled upon this article: http://www.usatoday.com/sports/college/football/story/2012-05-13/texas-william-powers-split-division-i-football/54959996/1
  7. http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Delusional Read it, learn it, you don't have to love it, but that is reality.
  8. If division one football does indeed break off into three divisions; which I think it will in the next five years, then UND and the Big Sky needs to be in position to move to the second tier. Fullerton has also eluded to this in multiple past interviews which leads me to believe he and others on that level know something that the fans like us don't. Should be interesting to say the least.
  9. Please share if you find out anything new!
  10. I see what you mean, but hockey whiteouts are more like salt n pepper so I have a hard time believing that football can pull it off.
  11. I think the only way to realistically do a color coordinated thing is if the university actually provided the shirts at the door; even in different sizes. Otherwise people will not go out of their way to buy a certain color shirt even if they are $5.
  12. This may be a dumb question but what makes tailgating in the past much better than tailgating now? Paying for parking? other aspects?
  13. UND needs more students like you! I was there 03 - 07 and the student perception was the same. Big difference now is that good teams are actually coming to town and I just hope that the students actually begin to realize this.
  14. Just another alumnus out of state that would vote yes (if I could) just so we can move on. I can and did donate some scratch to help get the proper word out though
  15. Also a good way to create interesting new rivalries at a faster pace.
  16. Whatever johnboy, if ndsu came out with new black jerseys you would be preaching the exact opposite.
  17. They also hired a professional digital media production company. That makes a huge difference as are athletic dept. guys are goof; these guys are pros.
  18. Looks like Idaho is now all alone in the WAC as a football member. Texas State to the Sunbelt and NMSU is being seriously considered. Do you guys think Idaho can swallow their pride and rejoin the Big Sky?
  19. I agree, they have stepped it up in quality and coverage and I love it! I know you digital media and athletic department guys are reading this so please will you guys look into doing a through these doors type of feature for football? (Portland State did an awesome job: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lkY9GLz1uM ) Also, thanks for what you guys have done so far!
  20. Your words: Maybe the Spirit Lake court decision thing will start to impact more voters. I just think it will end up being too little, too late. Too many people like Dave and Fetch out there in my opinion plus some of the crazies on bville will ultimately poison your mind and alter your decision making process, I.E. propaganda I only see a few fetches and daveks on here out of the vast majority, so yes it is ultimately who you surround yourself with. Also the vast majority of my friends and family back in Nodak feel that it is time to move on; once again those are the people I am surrounded by. Also, people in Colorado who ask me about this debacle are absolutely dumbfounded by how long this drama is playing out; the most popular response I hear is "isn't there anything better to do up there?" In the past I have defended the state as a whole but I am really starting to wonder...
  21. That is because you surround yourself with those types. For the record I gave you a chance but you now have ZERO credibility here.
  22. You seem like a pretty level headed Bison fan. That said are you going to do the right thing and vote yes so we can all move on?
  23. baaaa baaa Follow without question, that always works lol
  24. this news made a good day great!
