You also seem to not understand that UND is a great research institution that generates MILLIONS of dollars in economic impact; but you seem to be happy with the thousands that a trade school would generate. Colorado State would be a great game with a good fan turnout. A lot of alumni down here; the Northern Colorado turnout was pretty good so I imagine it would be better for CSU.

Thanks Jason, at first I was a bit worried about the coverage I would get out here in Colorado. I do understand that these things take time and like you said, we have 1.5 years to figure this out. Sidebar- is the technology available to webcast in HD or close to (i.e. better quality than the current webcasts)? Then all you need is a HDMI cable to connect to your flatscreen and problem solved.

Hopefully they are smart enough to look at the schedule and realize that other than the mines game we have a top notch FCS schedule; finally good teams will consistently be coming to GF. FYI I do wish that the mines game was off the schedule.

This class is looking pretty darn solid; I am happy with what I am seeing at this point. Solid QB and DB play could make a world of difference this season. I actually can't wait for spring ball!

It seems that we are pretty set at running back, at least for this recruiting year. WR and QB were the positions that needed the most attention and I am happy to see the results at this point.

This is a double edge sword. I work in the advertising industry (primarily digital) and some may shy away but for the most part they will go where the money is. These large agencies do a great job at manipulating reality in that they appear to be doing great but they are always hurting for money and will bend their "standards" if there is a paycheck to follow. My firm works with search engine marketing (SEM) and Facebook; in essence a part of their product / service offerings. That said TV may be a bit different but in the end it boils down to dollars and cents. Just some thoughts from a current advertising executive. I haven't read through the rest of this thread so I apologize if this has been covered.

I can't wait to see a UND Football game broadcast in HD; this is a great thing! Now when that HD game does happen I pray that people actually show up in the stands!

You can't be serious in questioning this when our team is in desolate North Dakota. Given our current situation this is as good as it gets man! Now he can bridge the gap between the two young guys so they can be as close to ready as possible after next season. Time will tell all here but at this point we are in a much better position this year compared to last year at this time.

It seems to me that it wasn't his twitter account that got his offer pulled at all (albeit it didn't help). After taking this all in I am thinking that we offered him a bit prematurely; then the UNC transfer came online and he is definitely the obvious choice given our qb situation. We maybe pulled the trigger a bit to soon and I think social media's 24 hour presence gave people a reason to speculate while they (coaches/admin) worked on making the UNC transfer official. Maybe our new name can be the minutemen

New jerseys.uniforms are a must. When players are openly expressing interest anyone smart in a decision making position should at least listen.
