  1. ahhhh makes sense! Yeah I am curious to see how this one goes. Go Nodak!
  2. Varner is actually a UND commit. Should be a great game!
  3. If we can do that we should have a great season. DB's were hard to watch last year. Regardless of QB we should be in good shape there. Bradley really surprised me in the spring game (in a good way).
  4. You don't read very well do you. I am here because of my OCCUPATION; skiing is a secondary perk. Your state
  5. Time will tell, the rivalry that once was shouldn't take too long to heat up again. I do look forward to it. FYI- I am not jealous that you are a "native" I am here because of my occupation and I happen to love skiing (and happen to be better at it than most of my "native" friends and relatives)
  6. You are a lost cause so I am not going to entertain your non football jibberish. In regards to our schedule, we do have a tough one. However I have done my homework on UNC and I do understand that they will be better this year. However, I do not think that you have done yours on UND because we have a very promising team this year. We only beat you by 2 because of poor QB and DB play, which if you would have done your homework you would have realized that we have done a pretty good job of addressing those issues. That said I think you are waaaay off. Can't wait to kick the snot out of you guys! Now run along.
  7. Sorry for the rant, back on topic now. Beating the snot out of UNC should now be added to the successful formula
  8. For all of you that don't know, many native Coloradans have an attitude and seem to think that they are levels above everyone else. It is pretty funny really because most who complain about this are ski bums or low level income that have no motivation to truly succeed. This state is run my a large percentage of "non natives" whether you like it or not so get used to it. Denver / Boulder has a big tech industry out here; only other places this exists is in Silicon Valley and Washington DC so talent comes from all over the world, including North Dakota. This is a big reason for many "non-natives" invading your state. Heck, I was offered a job before I even moved so what does that tell you? Like it or not buddy this is a huge industry and the state collects A LOT of tax revenue from it. Are you going to complain about the tourism that fuels the state's budgets next? You have some issues and you chose to air them out in the wrong place.
  9. HAHAH hey buddy I work for a business intelligence software company that is set to go public in less than 18 months- no opportunities like that in Nodak; let alone Minneapolis. I do my part in contributing to the local economy. If you weren't talking smack than why would you come onto a UND board and say that we should be in a different conference. I would take a look in the mirror before you thump your chest anymore. I also have relatives here so try again tool.
  10. THIS, coming from a Northern Colorado fan? The Big Sky wants us because of our educational profile as a leading public research university, among other reasons. Montana seems to be pretty happy to have another peer institution in the conference. Because of that article I hope that we walk into Sac and beat the tar out of them. We are capable of that this year. Also cant wait until we play you guys again. This year there might be more UND fans than UNC fans!
  11. The press was on this before Faison even knew what was going on. He was on the phone all morning with different radio stations around the region. Get your facts straight before your next conspiracy theory.
  12. In the interview this morning on the twin cities station he said that somebody leaked it out and reporters were there taking pictures right away. He did call him so no reason to jump to conclusions.
  13. This is way too funny; I can't believe that they even addressed the letter to Faison!
  14. Are you trying to convey that home field advantage in the playoffs is not a big deal? I have news for you in that other coaches and recruiters have been using that exact same argument against UND when pitching recruits over the last couple years.
  15. So does this mean we can talk about UND sports again?
  16. referring to Devils Lake! Benson will be interesting...
  17. If you are going to go that route than how about only alumni, current students, and faculty being able to choose the new nickname? I would be for that because I personally do not like seeing UND's fate in the hands of many people who have no stake in the University's success and well being whatsoever.
  18. Thanks for voting yes, I wish I could have. Just remember that there is no rule or law saying that you can't fly your Sioux flag; I am going to fly mine for the first football game in August even though I would have voted yes.
  19. I agree, I want our guys to walk in there and dominate, just wipe the floor with them, and then quietly on to the next one. Their fans and media have been classless.
  20. Just saw that on twitter! EWU could be dangerous this year with their FBS QB transfer, in addition to their pretty solid WR corp.
  21. Since this comes from Rob Port I have serious doubts about the validity of the statements made. Plus it seems that it can be interpreted differently, so whatever.
