If Jerry had gotten playing time last year, I would agree with you.
But that stupid decision to not play him in obvious garbage time situations is costing us now.
Jerry would have progressed more this season if he hadn't rode the bench all last season.
We have a sophomore at QB. That almost guarantees growing pains.
We have a good O-line and RBs. We should emphasize the running game.
That would take some of the pressure off of our QB.
But Mr. B1G/NFL (Fruechte) obviously thinks otherwise.
I guess we'll find out this Saturday which one of us is right.
ASU's goalie gave up rebounds all night on Saturday, but we weren't there to capitalize on them.
Jackson didn't bring up being "hot goalied" after Saturday night's game and neither should we. It can get into guy's heads and become a mental issue that is hard to get rid of.
They would all need therapy after that!
Full Disclosure: I am in therapy myself, so don't think I am making fun of those suffering from mental illness.
I think this team will be okay. Unlike Canisius, this will be at home. Also, this team has a more focused and disciplined attitude under Jackson. We'll win both games and move on from there.
