Simplify the playbook for Jerry and emphasize the run game. That will give our sophomore QB a chance to reset, settle down and get back to basics.

I think this team will be okay. Unlike Canisius, this will be at home. Also, this team has a more focused and disciplined attitude under Jackson. We'll win both games and move on from there.

Maybe it didn't work out for them like they hoped? Maybe they got homesick? There are any number of reasons why a kid would want to come back home. Not allowing them to play high school hockey after coming back home is depriving ND high school hockey of talent and depth. It is foolish, IMO.

Well, the FCS playoffs are "one and done", so anything is possible.

I agree with you. But I think we are probably 40+ point favorites over Bill Murray State and SDSU is just not the same team they were just a couple of years ago, plus we have them at home. I think we win the next two and finish 8-4.

The OL is still one of the strengths of the team. Our lone touchdown was a running play inside the 5. I still would have preferred running the ball to the cute little short passes that were called.
