What about a shorter extension (1 or 2 years)? Keep him on his toes a little. I don't care if it's the "industry standard" to do that; we have to start having accountability for coaches who underachieve in the postseason.

Chaves better not give Berry a long extension. He hasn't earned it. He needs to learn from the Bubba extension a couple of years back.
