FCS isn't just a different planet than FBS, it's a different solar system. This is a much bigger move, where the big $$$$$ P4 programs can buy and sell the G6 programs many times over. Aside from an occasional upset of a P4 team on the road and a crappy bowl game victory in December, what else is there for FU except bigger and bigger bar tabs?

1. MINNESOTA (Realignment be d@mned) 2. Denver 3. Duluth 4. Wisconsin 5. BC 6. BU

Well, it will all come out in the wash at the end of the season like it always does. What I find annoying with your posts is that you make it sound like this is last year's team all over again. However the season ends, this season is 100x better than last season ever was. I am choosing to be positive about this team and program again. But keep up the Eeyore approach if that makes you happy.

One thing has nothing to do with the other. Hockey will bounce back tonight and FU will be drowning in red ink. I like where we stand

If are so happy about this, why don't you go down there and cheer them on and "be a part of it"? But don't think for one minute I'll be joining you. You probably have them in the CFP as soon as they are eligible. But moving from D2 to FCS is 1000% different than moving from FCS to FBS. This is a much more expensive move requiring millions of dollars annually to compete with FBS budgets. The bills won't stop coming in the mail; they will keep coming and get larger as time goes on. And there is NO WAY IN HELL I will support playing any FBS money games in the FFD. Let them go to Alabama or Georgia for money games like a good little G5 program. We should NEVER, EVER play them again in FB while we are in different classifications. Again, support them if you want. But I don't think most people on here will join you.

@Sioux90 seems to disagree.

One bad game doesn't equate to missing the tournament.

I know sweeps are tough to come by in this league, but I think it is alright to start believing in this team again. This isn't last year's team.

Then this whole discussion forum is odd. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

I don't know what happened to bring about this change of fortune, but I'm liking it! 😁

Looks like having "the ultimate captain" wasn't enough to put ASU over the top.

That left a very bad taste in my mouth.

Neither will I, thus the perverse comment.

Perversely, the Goofs winning helps us in the SOS department.

2025-26 University of North Dakota Hockey Season

I think Denver has way more to worry about considering they lost to Lindenwood earlier this year. We didn't have a "Canisius" moment this year (thank God). I guess I just don't see this team losing to the likes of St. Cloud and Miami at home. If we sweep our two remaining home series and split our two remaining road series, I think we'll be just fine. That's not "pandering", that's an educated guess. -

Pandering? I guess I just have a little more faith in this version of the team than you have. And a lot more faith in this team vs last year's team. -
Probably not "feasible" for UND...........

You're talking like UND is going to be a bubble team in March. I say that isn't happening. -
That's probably because their athletic programs are bad across the board and thus don't generate a lot of revenue.

Good news.

Why are we having all this success this season after years of mediocrity? What's changed?

No, Rodgers would have been destroyed behind our O-line, who can't protect anyone.

Wasn't Lynn responsible for the Hershel Walker trade?
