I love Hutter's aggressiveness in building his team. He isn't playing around and that attitude will rub off on the current roster and attract players with a similar attitude.
Personally, I am giving Hutter, Schmidt and Jackson the benefit of the doubt, as all three of them have challenges they are working to overcome.
Sather, on the other hand, has used up his grace period.
I think people are just anxious to see some signs of progress with the team. People are hungry for the FB program to become a perennial playoff contender. I honestly don't blame them.
The "Chippahs" won't be around longer than 2 years. So you have to have a solid foundation of 3 to 4 year guys in order to win consistently from October to April.
You win however you can, especially in this chaotic era of NIL and unlimited transfers.
That being said, I do prefer building the program via traditional recruiting.
