First time UND lost a game after leading by 2 or more goals in TWO YEARS!! Just putting things in perspective.

4 points separate first from sixth in the NCHC. Every point is huge !! Need a sweep and 6 points next weekend against a struggling Miami team!!

So UND had a bad game against a good team. Let's put things in perspective. Still only 3 points out of first. Not gonna win every game. Our league is tough this year. How big is hte March 4th game against No. Colorado gonna be?! Huge in relation to Big Sky standings. Oh yeah, and its Senior Day and the last game of the year. Circle this one on the calander.

They should handle the tailgating spots like they did the student section. If they don't use them, open them up to the public. Students weren't packing out the student section, so they moved the sections over and opened the section up to the general public for season tickets. Same souls be done with the student tailgate lot. That lot is maybe 20% full at most, and I am being very generous. They could cut that in half and open a bunch of spots and sell them to people that are actually gonna use them. I would think they would be looking into this option already.

You and Virg Foss are in the minority. And also both ignorant and uninformed on the issue. How many times do we have to remind people like you that as per the agreement with the NCAA and state law, UND must pick a new name by 2015. Why is that so hard to get?? Having no nickname is a horrible idea. The interlocking ND is a fine logo, but it is rediculous to go as nothing. You and Virg can be stubborn, but the rest of us will move on with a new name.

One word.....PATHETIC!!!

Why can't our offense run a play that doesn't consist of a player driving to the basket and throwing up a low percentage shot or drawing a foul? Are these the types if plays the coaches draw up during timeouts? Are these the type of plays they work on in practice? Why can't a one other than Schuler make a shot outside the paint? Why does Jones not play Calcaterra or Salmonson? Where is the chemistry on this team? We have been hyping this year for 5 years that this is going to be the year UND makes the Tournament. These questions need to answered if this team wants to accomplish their ultimate goal. And soon!!!

Why Nash was in the game the final 10 minutes of the game I will never know. Can't make a shot. Would drive to the lane and throw up a circus shot and not even draw contact. When he would draw contact, more often then not, he would miss the free throw. Why are Salmonson and Calcarerra even on the team if Jones is not gonna play them. Sure Nash is more athletic, but he was absolutely worthless in the Weber game and Jones needs to recognize that. Schuler is our best shooter and he is sitting on the bench the last 5-6 minutes if the game. seriously?!!! We needed 3's and he is our best three point shooter. I guess Jones thought Nash should be taking those!! This play of this team has really disappointed me. There is no team game. All they do is pass around the perimeter and then eventually a guy will drive the lane while everyone else just stands around. Not trying to get open or in position for a rebound...just retreating back to play d!! Much of this team has played together for 5 years now. You would think they would show some chemistry and play more team ball. Not sure if that is their fault or coaching. How many outside jump shots not scored in the paint did UND have? Couldn't have been more than 5. The fact that we have Nash and huff drive the lane and draw 2-3 defenders and they can't get it to the open guy for a wide open look I'd rediculous. This team better figure out how to play team basketball, or they will not only be watching the Big Dance from their couches, but the Big Sky Tournament as we'll!!

"Veterans" often gets mentioned for a new name for the Redskins if they end up having to change it. What about the University of North Dakota Veterans? Anyone else think that has a nice ring to it? If we are going to have a name that honors people, couldn't think of a better group of people!

i expect to see a power "run first" offense and a shut down defense. Also a quarterback to emerge from the Molberg/Bartels debate. As well as a team that is competitive in every game and that makes the post season. Will that happen week 1? Probably not. Could it happen next season, sure. But I am willing to be patient given the recent player transfers and new coaching staff. I know many of us were excited about the schedule last year. But I thnk s football fans should be more excited about the 2014 season. Bubba has brought some great coaches in. We will see what he can do with this team, especially the defense. Overall, I am most looking to seeing a much improved defense.
