I get that Frisco has a lot of new hotels, restaurants, etc. But can the the biggest game if the FCS football year be in a football stadium with an acceptable playing surface as opposed to a soccer stadium with awful turf where 2 foot clumps are coming up and sand is kicking up every time a person runs on it?!!! The contract for Toyota field has it hosting the title game the next 2 seasons. Hopefully it can move locations. (And no, not Fargo all you Delusional bison fan dreamers)!! : )

If players were going to leave after this season, they had their mind made up before the season was probably even over. Hiring a new coach right away wasn't going to keep them here. Sick and tired if hearing how taking 5 weeks to hire a coach was the reason these players left. They left because UND football sucked last year. They don't want to be on a sucky team anymore. Granted, I think they will be better next year with new coaches, but some players don't want to be apart of a rebuilding process.

If you want to see a coach that is passionate about football, the University of North Dakota, and leading young men, I encourage you to watch the press conference today announcing Bubba as the head coach. It is obvious that this was the best choice for UND's football program. The following two quotes will tell you all you need to know about the heart and passion Bubba has for coaching and for leading a team: "It is better to do what's right than what is popular" "the team is most important" Just refreshing hearing a coach talk about getting the right coaches with a work ethic and creating a product on the field that all of us fans can be proud of.

I think they would be smart about the timing of the presser and schedule when NDSU is not currently practicing.

Just ask yourself when the best years of UND football were. One can argue the 90's and early 2000's. And we are supposed to be upset we got a coach that was coaching UND during that time? Doesn't make much sense to me!!

Everyone if course wanted High Profile candidates. but UND is not high profile right now. We don't have the resume right now to attract high end coaches. Not taking anything away from Bubba, but he is a quality option giving the state our football program is in right now. The process is over, UND football has a new coach. Time to look forward.
