  1. Jesus, awesome right up. Thanks
  2. Heavily disliked the guy as broadcaster but he's got a problem. Feel bad for him and his family. I hope he gets better and finds a way to be happy. Gopher or not I take no joy seeing a person end up like this.

    2016 Season

Grady, so far has been a no show to campus and hasn't been in much contact with the coaches. Sioux insiders mentioned it today and I heard about from another couple guys last weekend. So, there must be some validity to this. If true that would really hurt.
  4. I thought you were kidding but the bar really is on fire. Haven't been there since 05. So, I'm not a suspect.

    Hammer

I think he'll be back to broadcasting at some point.

    Hammer

Another guy turns in his man card. Kidding, I like him always have. Seems like he has a cycle of every 6 years getting out of broadcasting and into a sales position only to come back and call games again. Til' next time Hammer. See you 5-8 years.

    BG game

Thanks for the post. Looking forward to the game and getting a little insight into a program we haven't played before. It really is appreciated.
  8. I didn't realize he got booted. Whatever he was a punter. There's a good stat. How many punters have ever been booted off a team?
  9. From the highlights it certainly looked like the Overmann and Oliviera stole the show.
  10. Author: Jon LippJon is a Business Administration major who apparently has too much time on his hands. Feel free to tweet him at @The_Papa_Jon to express your disgust with his opinions and humor. Funny description of the Author.
  11. Well I'm guessing there was a little over half million in the Baseball budget and around $150,000 in the Mens golf budget to cover it. Seems a little basic and almost too simple to be what an AD at the D-1 level is thinking about how to balance a budget. However, it appears that's exactly what he's doing.
  12. You hit it on the head. He is constantly reacting to things in his rear view mirror.
  13. Faison proved to be incompetent with the statements made since the announcement. He can't see 7 months ahead of his financials? He can't simply forward emails of future donors to his subordinates? Can he answer questions to media without making a total ass of himself? It's these questions that he repeatedly fails to correctly answer in the media. In my opinion we need new leadership in the Athletic Department. He just doesn't seem to run a good ship or have much confidence or knowledge of where his department is at or where its going. The cutting of baseball and mens golf might have happened with anyone at the helm. My opinion isn't driven from the outcome of the announcement the other day. It's how it came about, how it was handled and the lack of competence he handled it in. If he remembered the email from Thome being sent he sure the hell should've been prepared for that to be brought up. There's still no excuse not to forward on to the giving department. The way he answered the question was like we should expect him to just brush off recently graduated student athletes. I know he receives massive amounts of emails but come on. Apologize and explain that with a massive amount of emails I screwed up and didn't forward it. It's not my common practice for me to do that. He just answered the question nonchalantly and moved on. Part of being a leader and AD is dealing with the public and he's failed. You're not going to get everyone to like you, but he's certainly ruffled a lot of feathers in his current position.
  14. Ok, next question. Is the athletic Department or the University as a whole in a $10,000,000 budget shortfall?
  15. A question out there for somebody in the know, who knows for a fact not thinks he/she knows, but knows. Is UND now title IX compliant?
  16. Anyone Watching Flyers-Pens game? Hakstol during the first period bench interview with Pierre "Douche" he gives the "Go Sioux". I love it.
  17. Speaking of how young the team is and not to look to far ahead..... If they can reload at LB after 2016, 2017 will be a very good season for UND football. Not that I'm not excited for this coming season but whatever 2016 brings will only get that much better for 2017.
  18. They would know better than I as far as him at LB. I don't really see it but I didn't see him play LB much. I still would like to see him get lots of reps at FB. Especially in goal line situations. Last year they used Fiedler a couple times and I really think Norberg would be a lot better suited for 3rd/4th and inches scenarios.
  19. Has anybody seen Norberg working in at FB this spring? I think he could be our man there this year. With his size and speed he could be become a great lead blocker and a threat to carry the ball. I know Longtime mentioned how big he's gotten. I thought he could've been a great LB and I never liked the permanent move to RB.
  20. What the hell are you two talking about? Kolpack kink party in scant NDSU garb with Chapman as the grand Dominatrix and Taylor as the submissive guest of honor?
  21. I was helping with high school wrestling tournament and watching the game in the hospitality room when he broke the tackle. I bear hugged and picked up the coach from West Fargo (a guy that from my wrestling days we didn't necessarily get along). Unknowingly at the time I made quite the scene. The guy gave me crap about that for some time after that.
  22. Hey Jackie, the DUDE says "NDSU treats recruits like objects man"
  23. I've rarely been to the AGS website. Yet, that's a very good post and kind of what I expected to hear from anyone with insight on Rivals. Although, he says how perverse of a world it is and how he doesn't follow recruiting other than a few re-tweeted commitments. Didn't he work for these guys for five years? Must of been quite a self-loathing job for him to dislike the environment that his employer had created.
  24. I put this on SFI earlier. Thought I'd put this here as well. Here is a question for you guys. What do you think about Rivals and their influence on big time football colleges. These 3 star, 4 star, 5 star ratings they give out seem to really sway these colleges in how they recruit. Look at some of our steals and some of their flops. It’s not often we get one of these star rated athletes and its not often FBS give schollies to non rated athletes. Are FBS schools taking templates of rated athletes created by rivals and going off of that and only that? Tunnel vision by FBS schools maybe allowing us to land some of these top notch unrated athletes. In the last couple years Oliviera, Nguon, Santiago, Grady, Rudolph, Toivonen had no profiles on Rivals. Cloyd, Canady, Tyus Carter, Geier, Helgren and Holm all had generic profiles with no rating. For instance NDSU NFLer Marcus Williams generic profile, Wentz no profile. Ratelle no profile. Golloday no profile. Not sure if this means anything or not or if I’m over analyzing stuff but just found this interesting. I think it proves that Rivals miss and Bubba is hopefully picking up what they missed.Great job his staff in my opinion.
