I agree with you I just don't think we can use even a runner up finish in the Big Sky to a Great West title. Looking at the numbers which don't lie. Jones has reached 20 losses twice in his 10 full seasons while reaching 20 wins zero times. Only 4 winning seasons and never winning a conference title. I'd hate to see mid season firing. Cause I think usually that hurts everybody. Yet, without a good conference finish I think a change is unavoidable.

Although I agree that the MBB program could use a change. You can't compare the Big Sky to the Great West. No comparison. It's been said on here before. Jones needs that signature win and then needs to build on that. Right now this program is in a decade or better rut with him at the helm. His winning percentage is well under 500. Even with the transition that should be unacceptable. Without a top three finish this year it might be time to move on. For sure anything outside a top 5 will get him tossed. Atleast in my kind.

He came in so raw but athletically so gifted. Great job by the staff for recognizing talent and then sculpting it. I agree this honor gets a big assist by the staff. Great job by both Deion and the staff.

That's what I was told when he was coming out of high school. He grew up a UND fan and if he decided not to go FBS he'd go to UND. Not NDSU. Just what I was told. I'm sure it helps that UND is now a top 10 team. Also not buying that he's more afraid of the NDSU backfield than UND's.

It appears as a RB. That's quite a crowded backfield we'll have next year. Makes me wander if Santiago gets moved out of the backfield and back to WR. Where he initially started. He could be deadly in the slot if utilized correctly. Especially if we had a speed guy on the outside to stretch the field.
