He might but it would be hard to get a former Bison into giving recommendations to go to UND. Although Feeney has had a few players end up at UND.

I agree with you we should get a cable quarterback in every class. Chris Simdorm was a QB for the Bison in the late 80's early 90's. I believe he even won the Harlon Hill. Probably not a big fan of UND and surely a huge fan of NDSU.

I seen in the article I read in the Pioneer Press that Perra is leaning on his high school coach for guidance. Its a guy with the last name Simdorm. I doubt he is going to advise him to go to UND. Why couldn't the last name be Otto, Kovash, Wagner or Klosterman.

For one, if the scores were identical doesn't it mean that they are two fairly similar matched teams. Two, if you read my quote I'm saying I doubt we'd be a better team in the semi's then Richmond. In Summary, you first you accuse oxbow and I of claiming UND would beat NDSU and win the title. Then after we pointed out niether of us claimed that just about how we'd match up with Richmond. You then blast us on the comparison and then statistically prove Oxbows point by noting the score of the two teams against NDSU was the same. How drunk are you?

I know what I meant and read thru what oxbow wrote and neither of us said anything about beating NDSU. The comments were whether or not we'd be better than Richmond.

I don't know. UND gets some injuries and we just don't have the depth to make up for it. Making it to the Semi's makes for a long season you need or usually need depth to be competive at that point. Not sure and don't care enough to look if Richmond had injuries but I'll give the credit on making the semis. With all that said man did UND look good at the end of the year. I want to agree with you that we would of been better than Richmond, there's to many variables to know for sure.

I didn't see anything out of Bolinske's highlight reel that warranted excitement at DB. However, he showed a lot of potential at QB. QB's are difficult to evaluate from highlight reels but I saw a couple of check downs and many passes with nice touch. Not saying he's a sure fire QB of the future but getting a QB with his set of intangibles as a PWO is very encouraging. Also, ND kid love to see that as well.

I get your point on FBS wins. I'm just saying I put more stock in a win over a FCS playoff caliber team (Portland State then a FBS win over Wyoming. I was kind of referring before about the 5-2 record against P-5 teams. That's why I referenced the K State win. I don't remember the Central Michigan game but I looked it up and I agree that's a good win. I was wrong 2 good FBS wins. I said it, I said it. I was wrong. I'm not arguing that in the D-1 era that NDSU isn't the better program. They are. I just don't understand why you guys come here to tell us about it.

Not even sure how to respond to your first paragraph. All FBS wins are qaility wins by FCS teams but not all are good wins. UND doesn't have a good FBS win yet and NDSU has one.

Last night a buddy of mine who played golf for the gophers and his brother who played hockey for the gophers told me "UND went from the best name and mascot in maybe all of college sports to the worst". I don't know if I was proud that they admitted that Sioux was the best nickname or I was pissed that we're no longer the Sioux. The only thing I know is that I don't have enough pride in the Hawks name yet to defend it. I want to move on but my heart isn't in it yet.

Good Morning captain obvious. Yes, UND's win against Wyoming was similar to most of the NDSU's FBS wins (minus the K State win). Yes, UND should've been selected for the playoffs this year and no not the worst oversight by the committee ever Yes, if UND wins 8 games next year that gives them a better shot at making the playoffs compared to 7 wins. Out of those 7 games NDSU has one impressive over Kanas State. That K State team would've been a top FCS school that year. None of the other 6 teams you played out of that 5-2 record would've made the FCS playoffs. I'm going to agree with you guys, UND's win over Wyoming shouldn't count for much. A win over a crappy FBS team doesn't mean a heck of a lot. Wins over FCS playoff caliber teams is what should matter. So, if you morons want to come on here and tell us how crappy an FBS win over Wyoming is and that we shouldn't whine about not making the playoffs. I don't want to hear about 5-2 and how great your record is over P5 schools is. You want to brag about K State go ahead it was a great win you had, two years ago. This forum and the people who post on it are looking to the future. You want to live in the past, that's fine. In two years we'll check you out in our rear view mirror.

I don't know. The black eye on the committee is already there and there knockout punch on UND landed Sunday. I'll just enjoy the playoffs, it will finally be fun watching these teams and comparing them to UND and how'd they match up. In the past if you did that it would be cringeworthy.
