Still not a easy win and in scenario for UND. Just win and wait and see. Yes two and's in the last sentence. That's how unconventional this playoff picture is.

28-17 UND I will also predict some major fist pumping on my part at the end of the game. Then Pat Sweeney will announce that it's UND's first football win as the fighting Hawks. I will then promptly puke in the floor.

I seen on nobowls.com had Southern Utah and Montana playing first round and the winner playing Portland St. I assume the committee would avoid putting conference members together? Right? With 8 different rat tails of three, putting one group from all from the same conference would be ridiculous. I know in hockey they used to do that until 2005 and the frozen four became the WCHA frozen four. Are they trying to avoid another conference title game with two members of the same conference? I noticed MVFC members in alike groups as well. Just wandering if somebody heard that they might be trying to stack the deck against another title game like last years.

I think if that happens even with a win next week it leaves us looking in from the outside of the playoff picture. Couple that with a NAU win and our playoff hopes are really dim.

I'm excited about the fact that UND is in the playoff hunt with one game to play. However, I'm cautiously optimistic bordering on pessimistic that we actually get in the playoffs even with a win over Poly. We'll need some help to get in. A simple win and get in theory I'm afraid is not true. Several of you have figured out the best scenarios to get us in. I'll just wait, watch the game Saturday night (Hopefully I can stream the game) and wait to see what happens.

couple real bad calls in the last minute got NDSU the go ahead score with :35 left. After the kick off Pellini got two unsportsmanlike penalties in a row. The refs got a police escort off the field. It looked like Pellini was going to get out of hand.

UND 30 UNC 13 Usually I wouldn't be this optimistic but I think the ground game gets help with some big pass plays. D makes some big stops in scoring territory but struggles a bit. My big worry offensively is turnovers.

I certainly understand what you're saying but we did play another Drake it was called Idaho State. We lost. I think playing the best in the regular season helped this team with the exception of losing Arnell.

I missed that. I only watched about 15 minutes. Listened to some in the radio. I did love the sign that read feed me corn dogs. Would be cool to go to one those shows.

All I can say is that these guys are positive it's a real NCAA rule. Like I said they aren't blood related.

Question for you guys. I have some relatives (by marriage) that are NDSU fans. They claim that the Alerus can't host playoff games cause the ceiling isn't high enough. Has anyone else heard this before? I know it's not correct but you can't argue with children, women and the mentally challenged. Bison fans are in all those categories.
